As it says in my profile, “My erotic fiction tends to be male-dominant / female-submissive mind control stories with themes of dominance, humiliation, non-consensual sex, and bondage & discipline of the women involved. I prefer tales where the women know they’re being abused by a man, but they are unable to effectively resist, they can’t do anything about it, or perhaps they are even complicit. I also prefer tales where there is resistance and a gradual defeat of the women.”

There are many “poof, she’s completely obedient” stories. If you enjoy reading or writing those kinds of stories, enjoy them. Most of those stories don’t do anything for me. I enjoy reading and writing about the journey of subjugation. I want the final result to feel earned somehow.

I intentionally post my stories on multiple sites. I also state that you can download and keep copies of my stories (as long as you’re not changing them or charging for them). This is on purpose. Many story sites of the past have disappeared. My hope is that my stories will outlast me. I want to imagine that someone, a hundred or more years later, will find and enjoy my stories.

As I noted in my profile, “I try to write good prose. I use a spelling checker to help avoid misspellings. I do my best to write clearly. I assume my readers are smart and can enjoy the proper use of unusual words. I try to provide interesting characters, plot twists, internal consistency, and logical justifications to help fully engage the mind of my reader. I believe poor writing can ruin the effect of a good idea.”

I find that this is true for myself. If there are many spelling errors, a boring plot, or obvious internal inconsistencies, the story isn’t interesting to me. I prefer a story that’s clearly carefully crafted. I want a plot that has some surprises. The world may be different than our own, but I want to be convinced that the world is self-consistent. A weird premise is fine, as long as the story sticks to the premise. I want the characters to do things because it makes sense for them to do it, not because the plot requires it. I don’t want characters who are protected by plot armor and nothing else.

In short, I try to write the kind of erotic stories I like to read. They aren’t for everyone. If these are the kind of stories you like, I hope you enjoy reading them.
