Sisterhood of Nyx

The Sisterhood began shortly after the 1st World War, when four naturally dominant ladies became very displeased at having to return to regular housekeeping duties after having worked in traditionally male roles throughout the war. During a coffee afternoon, there were deep discussions about how frustrated they all were, and it was decided that, one by one and with each other's help, they would turn their marriages into female-led relationships in which no male would have any power over any female in any of their households. Over the generations that followed, their doctrine grew stronger and wider. To such an extent that there were chapters worldwide. The one rule throughout was that men were never dominant, be that father or son. Many ladies took matters into their own hands as regards children, and many a son was brought up to be submissive to their female family members. Also, arranged marriages were common between submissive sons from one family to Dominant daughters of another.
