Chapter 9 of 23
The next morning, Richard, dressed in grey sweatpants and a simple t-shirt, released Victoria from her bonds. Her body was a mass of aching muscles and frustrated, desperate arousal. He told her to get ready for work. It was an hour earlier than usual. He explained why, his voice devoid of any emotion. "You will no longer be riding in the car with either Akiko or me," he said, his words a final, crushing blow. "It is important that no favoritism or familiarity is shown. From now on, you will be getting the bus. Like the common commuter you are."
Richard removed the cruel tape and the vibrating egg, then relocked the chastity belt in place. The constant edge she’d been kept on all night had left her hornier than ever, a desperate, needy ache that the belt now ensured would go unfulfilled, a physical torment that mirrored her psychological one.
They made sure she looked particularly slutty, a walking advertisement for her own shame. They chose her outfit from the wardrobe of humiliation: a tight, black Lycra skirt that barely covered the curve of her buttocks and a thin, low-cut pink top that offered no support and left little to the imagination. They finished it with the ridiculously high, strappy stilettos, the ones that made her ankles wobble and forced her to walk with an undignified, mincing gait.
As Victoria stood at the bus stop, the chilly early morning wind whipped around her. She pulled the thin black plastic mac they had given her close to her body, but it did little to ward off the cold. Her nipples, hard and sensitive from the previous night's clamps, were prominent against the thin fabric of her top. She felt exposed and ridiculous.
Richard was the first to pass in his sleek Jaguar, on his way to the gym. He slowed down as he approached the bus stop, gave a cheerful hoot on his horn and a wave, a smug, triumphant smile on his face as he drove past.
The bus was already crowded when it arrived, a wheezing, groaning beast filled with the tired, grim faces of morning commuters. Victoria was forced to stand, crammed into the narrow aisle with a dozen other bodies, her personal space nonexistent. She clung to a greasy, slick metal pole, her body swaying with the lurching motion of the bus. The thin black plastic mac did little to ward off the roaming, predatory eyes of the men around her. She felt a hand "accidentally" brush against her buttocks and flinched, her breath catching in her throat, but she didn’t dare say a word, her training too deeply ingrained.
Then she saw it. The sleek, black Audi. It was moving through the traffic, a predator in a sea of prey. Akiko was at the wheel. She slowed as she pulled up alongside the bus, her eyes finding Victoria instantly through the large, grimy windows. A slow, cruel, triumphant smile spread across Akiko’s face. She didn’t just wave. She held up her phone, her thumb tapping the screen with deliberate slowness. She was taking a picture. A picture of Victoria, trapped and humiliated in her public cage, a slut on display for the world. Then, with a final, knowing look, she sped off, leaving Victoria to the leering stares.
The fifteen-minute bus ride was an eternity of public purgatory. Each lurch and sway of the groaning vehicle was a fresh torment, forcing Victoria to grip the greasy pole tighter, her knuckles white. The ridiculous stilettos they had forced her into made her ankles scream in protest, her calves cramping with a fiery intensity. The cheap plastic mac did little to ward off the lecherous stares of the men crammed in around her, their eyes lingering on the blatant promise of her slutty attire. She was a piece of meat on display, and the scent of her own fear was a cloying perfume in the stale air of the bus.
When it finally hissed to a stop at her designated stop, the five-minute walk to the office was a nightmare of public humiliation. The click-clack of her heels on the pavement was a drumbeat of shame, echoing her own degradation. Every passing car, every pedestrian, felt like a judge, their silent condemnation a physical weight. She arrived at the office building two minutes late, her heart a frantic, panicked bird against her ribs.
She had to walk through the gauntlet. The open-plan office was a sea of scrutinizing stares. Her former colleagues, people she had hired and managed, now looked at her with a mixture of pity, contempt, and morbid curiosity. She could feel their eyes on her, tracing the line of her too-short skirt, noting the garish pink of her low-cut top, the obvious artificiality of her makeup. She was a walking, talking testament to her fall from grace, a cautionary tale in high heels.
She finally reached the sanctuary of Akiko’s office door and knocked, her knuckles rapping softly on the wood.
"Enter," came the sharp, clipped reply.
She stepped in, closing the door behind her. Akiko was seated at her large, immaculate desk, her focus entirely on a report in front of her. She didn't look up. The silence stretched, thick and uncomfortable. Victoria just stood there, her feet and calves aching, her nipples sore and chafed from the constant friction against her top, the metal of the chastity belt a cold, heavy reminder of her captivity.
Finally, Akiko finished reading. She set the report down with precision and looked up, her eyes like chips of dark ice. "You're late."
Victoria just stood there, her mind racing. What could she say? The truth was a pathetic excuse, a litany of failures. "I... the bus was..."
Akiko held up a single, manicured hand, silencing her. "How are you meant to stand when I talk to you?" she asked, her voice dangerously soft.
Victoria flinched, her training kicking in. She immediately altered her stance, her legs slightly apart, her hands clasped behind her back, her head bowed in submission. The posture was a familiar, humiliating ache.
"That's better, slut," Akiko said, a flicker of satisfaction in her eyes. She was happy to see that Victoria was a little disheveled. Her hair needed brushing, a few strands escaping her tight ponytail. Her makeup needed a touch-up, the mascara slightly smudged from her unshed tears. And her cheap perfume needed refreshing. She was a mess. A beautiful, broken mess.
Akiko took out her familiar black notebook and a pen. "Not off to a very good start this week, are we, Victoria?"
"No, Miss Akiko. Sorry, the bus..." Victoria began again, her voice a pathetic whisper.
Akiko put her hand up again, her expression one of profound disappointment. "You were given plenty of time. Both your master and I worked out the timing. And are you saying we were wrong?"
Victoria fell silent. It was a trap. To agree would be to question their authority. To disagree would be to lie. There was no right answer.
"Well?" Akiko prompted, her pen poised over the notepad.
"No, Miss Akiko," Victoria whispered, her eyes burning with fresh tears of shame. "I'm sorry."
"Very well," Akiko said, making a note. "Go and clean up. You need more makeup and more perfume. I want to smell you from the other end of the office." She waved a dismissive hand. "Go."
Victoria fled the office, the weight of her failure crushing her. She walked through the office to the toilets, the eyes of her colleagues still burning into her back. In the sterile, fluorescent-lit room, she pulled out her bag of cheap makeup. She touched up the smudged mascara, added another thick, gooey layer of bright pink lipstick to her mouth, and then took out the bottle of Avon Evening Musk that Akiko had supplied. It was a cloying, artificial scent, the very essence of cheap desire. As instructed, she sprayed it liberally all over her body, the scent clinging to her skin and clothes like a second shame.
As she walked back through the office, heads turned again, but this time for all the wrong reasons. The overwhelming cloud of cheap perfume was an assault on the senses, a public declaration of her new, tawdry identity.
The rest of the week descended into a spiraling vortex of humiliation. The bus rides became a special kind of hell. One morning, a greasy-haired man in a stained tracksuit offered her a ride, his leer a promise of unspeakable things. She had to refuse, her heart pounding, knowing that Akiko would somehow find out and punish her for the perceived interaction. Another evening, a group of young men stood on the opposite side of the road, catcalling and making crude gestures.
Akiko’s badgering was relentless, a constant, gnawing pressure at work. Every mistake, no matter how minor, was meticulously recorded in her notebook. A typo in an email. A coffee that was two degrees too cold. A file was placed a centimeter out of alignment on her desk. Each one was a demerit, a black mark against her soul. At home, the torment continued. They had added a new item to her wardrobe of shame: a bright red rubber maid’s outfit, complete with a tiny white apron and a ridiculous lacy cap. Every night, before she was permitted to crawl into her narrow, cold bed, she had to clean one humiliating outfit, so there was always a clean one the next day. Richard and Akiko were always watching her with critical eyes.
By Friday, Victoria was a hollowed-out shell, her nerves frayed to the breaking point. The weekly punishment was dealt out after everyone else had left the office, the empty, silent building a witness to her degradation. This time, it was not the paddle. This time, it was over Akiko’s knee. Richard stood leaning against the door, a silent, imposing sentinel, his arms crossed over his chest, his face a mask of cold approval. Akiko sat on a straight-backed chair, her skirt perfectly arranged. She pulled Victoria over her lap, the position both infantilizing and deeply shaming. The spanking was long and hard, Akiko’s hand raining down blows with a rhythmic, stinging precision that left Victoria’s buttocks burning and her soul crushed. She didn't even have the strength to cry, just to lie there and take it, a broken doll.
When it was finally over, Akiko pushed her off her lap onto the floor. "There will be a party at my house this weekend," she announced, her voice crisp and business-like, as if she were discussing a corporate event. "A few... friends. And you will be coming with me tonight to help prepare."
Victoria’s heart sank. A weekend with Akiko, outside the controlled environment of the apartment. It was a terrifying prospect.
