Short
I stopped struggling, surrendering to the inevitable, and sat there, tears stinging my eyes as the last tuft of hair fell onto my almost naked body. I wasn't sure what the tears were for: the loss of my dignity, the shattering of my minor victory, or the cruel reality of my captivity. The sound of the sink running and the rise of steam filled the air. The tap started running behind me. Steam curled into the air. And then—of all things—she began to hum. Softly, contentedly. Like this was just another chore on her list.
A hot washcloth was placed on my head, its warmth a cruel tease, followed by the lather of foam and the sharp blade of a razor. Finally, a towel was pressed against my scalp, leaving it cool and bare. She undid the handcuffs, but left my legs tied to the chair.
"Clean this mess up and go to bed. I don’t want to see you again today," she said, her voice dismissive and final, before walking out of the bathroom and down the stairs, leaving me to my humiliation and despair.
I sat there for a moment, gathering my thoughts, the weight of my actions and their consequences pressing down on me. I bent and undid my ankles, standing up with a sense of defiance, brushing the thick ginger hair that used to be on my head onto the floor. In a fit of temper and frustration, I kicked some of it away, a futile act of rebellion. Then, I turned on the shower, the water a temporary respite.
The bathroom looked like a crime scene, hair everywhere, sink full of cloudy water, the mirror fogged and streaked. I stared at it and felt something harden inside me..
"Fuck it, let the bitch do it herself," I thought, knowing there would be consequences, but not caring in that moment. I wrapped myself in a towel and went to my room, the thought of my defiance giving me a strange sense of victory.
I must have nodded off; the thud of the book hitting the floor woke me up, jolting me back to reality. I heard noises down the hall: a vacuum cleaner, clanging and banging, the sink running. "Hah!" I thought, "The bitch is cleaning it up herself, another victory for me," or so I believed.
An hour later, I heard her apparently on the phone.
“Oh—hi, Mike. I’m doing okay.”
A pause.
“No, not yet. If I don’t hear anything by Monday, I’ll call his cousin.”
Another pause.
“Yes. She’s his only family. She lives in the States.”
Silence. Then—
“No, I didn’t even think of that.”
Her tone shifted. Concerned now. Controlled.
“Yes… possibly. I’d hoped he'd at least texted. Let me check.”
Five minutes passed.
Then she stopped right outside my door.
“Hi, Mike. It’s me again.” Her voice cracked perfectly. “Looks like he took his passport.”
A pause.
“I checked his bank account—he bought a ticket. Houston, Texas.”
Another pause.
“No. One-way.”
She let herself sob then. Quiet, convincing. Apologetic.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize it was that bad.”
She laughed weakly through tears.
“Just work hours, mostly.”
More silence.
“Yes, of course you can come over. That would be… nice.”
She ended the call and leaned against my door and sighed loudly, a final act in this twisted play of manipulation and control.
Sunday started with a deceptive sense of normalcy. She brought me a coffee, her fingers lingering on my shaved head as she kissed it. I braced myself for the other shoe to drop, but she made no mention of yesterday's events, leaving me in a state of uneasy anticipation. I had my morning shower and shave, now accustomed to the humiliation of drying my caged dick and balls with a hair dryer.
I met her in the kitchen, the scene of our silent meals and unspoken tensions. She pointed toward the floor, a silent command. I kissed her feet, and she handed me a list of chores, her expectations clear. I carried out my tasks with a sense of resignation, making lunch and eating in silence.
Then came the minor bombshell.
"David, I’m having a guest over this afternoon, so you will have to be in your room by 2 pm."
Her words were casual, but they sent a jolt of realization through me. I remembered the phone call from last night, Mike's impending visit, and the slim chance of escape it offered. I tried my best to look nonchalant as she ordered me to my room at 1:30, my mind racing with plans and the slim hope of freedom.
