Chapter 7 of 18
Tom's hands gripped Nichola's hips, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he guided his slick, hard shaft towards her tight rear entrance. He pushed forward slowly, insistently, and she cried out, a raw, guttural sound that was a perfect symphony of pleasure and pain. Her body arched, her back a taut bow as she accommodated him, her muscles clenching and fighting before surrendering to the invasion. He began to move, a deep, powerful rhythm that stole her breath and pushed her to the very edge of sanity. The room echoed with their grunts and her whimpers, the sound of flesh slapping against flesh a primal drumbeat. With a final, brutal thrust, he buried himself to the hilt and pulled out, his cock erupting in a series of thick, hot spurts that painted her back in glistening, white ribbons.
A few minutes later, they lay tangled in the sheets of the king-sized bed, their bodies slick with sweat and the aftermath of their exertion. The air was thick with the scent of sex and victory. Nichola sighed, a contented, cat-like sound, and snuggled deeper into Tom's embrace. Tom, however, was not yet settled. His gaze drifted across the room, to the darkened corner where their failure was kept.
James was staring back at him.
There was no confusion in his eyes now. No drug-induced haze. There was only pure, unadulterated hatred, a burning, focused loathing that was almost a physical force. The thick, heavy steel collar around his neck was chained to a solid iron ring bolted low on the wall, forcing him into a perpetually hunched posture. A huge, black ball gag was strapped tightly into his mouth, stretching his jaw and silencing any but the most muffled of sounds. His arms were wrenched behind his back, his wrists pulled up high and cruelly attached to the back of the collar, a brutal strappado that sent a constant, throbbing ache through his shoulders. His cock, a testament to their frustration, was imprisoned in a spiked cage, the inward-pointing teeth digging into his flesh with the slightest hint of arousal.
Tom smiled at him, a slow, triumphant baring of teeth. He was happy. He had just had a celebratory fuck with Nichola, and the first of the funds had been successfully transferred from James's savings account. The man in the corner was just a casualty, a stubborn bug in the code they were now debugging. The drug had worked, but it had taken them four tries to get the dosage and the scenario right.
The first attempt, with the "hooker" persona, had been a failure. The drug had made him docile but not compliant. The second attempt, the "loving husband" scenario, had backfired spectacularly, resulting in the "Fuck You" signature. The third attempt, a brutal punishment and isolation scenario, had only hardened his resolve. They had learned that simple domination wasn't enough. They needed to break him from the inside out. They needed to give him a reason to want to sign. His mind went back to two days ago.
"The fourth time's the charm," Nichola murmured. "Clara was right. We can't just break his body; we have to break his heart."
Their new plan was a masterpiece of psychological cruelty. They had created a scenario so intricate, so perfectly tailored to James's known profile, that it was almost inevitable that it would succeed. They had spent days researching, digging into his life, his history, his lost connections. And they had found it. The one chink in his armor.
The next morning, the scene was set. James woke up in another scene. This one was set up like a sterile, modern office. He was sitting in a comfortable leather chair opposite a large mahogany desk. Nichola sat behind the desk, her expression serious, professional. She was familiar, but he couldn’t remember why.
"James," she began, her voice devoid of emotion. “Thank you for comming back.”
The door opened, and a woman walked in. She was in her late twenties, with kind brown eyes red-rimmed from crying, and her hair was pulled back in a simple, distraught ponytail. She was dressed in a plain, worn cardigan and jeans. She looked at James, and a fresh wave of tears welled in her eyes.
"James?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "It's me. It's Sarah."
James stared, his mind reeling. Sarah. His Sarah. The girl he had loved in university. The girl he had planned to marry. The girl who had left him without a word ten years ago, breaking his heart and shaping the lonely, cautious man he had become. He hadn't heard from her since. He had mourned her, built a shrine to her memory in the locked rooms of his heart. And here she was. Through their research, they had found pictures on Instagram and Facebook of Sarah, Nichola’s friend, and Clara was a convincing replacement,
"It can't be," he mumbled.
"It is," Nichola said coolly. “Sarah employed us to find you, James, as we told you in our original meeting.
He looked confused,
Sarah took a shaky breath, wringing her hands. "James… I'm so sorry. I never wanted to leave you. My family… they made me. They said you weren't good enough, that you'd never amount to anything. They sent me away. But I never stopped loving you."
She sobbed, a heartbreaking, genuine sound. "And now… now our daughter is sick."
The world tilted on its axis. Our daughter.
"Her name is Lily," Sarah continued, her voice cracking. "She's eight. And she has a rare disease. The doctors… they say there's a treatment, a new gene therapy trial in Switzerland. But it costs so much, James. Two hundred thousand pounds. I don't have it. My family won't help. I've tried everything. I was so desperate that's when I got in touch with Nichola and Tom."
She looked at him, her eyes pleading, desperate. They said they'd help me find you. If I thought I could just talk to you. If you were the same man I loved, you'd want to save your little girl."
They explained everything. They said you'd been in an accident, that you'd been confused, but that you were okay now.
Nichola slid a folder across the desk. Inside were photos. A little girl with James's eyes and Sarah's smile, laughing on a swing. Medical reports, filled with terrifying jargon and a final, heartbreaking price tag. A bank statement for a Swiss clinic.
"It's all true, James," Nichola said, her voice soft, compassionate. "We've verified everything. We can even arrange a video call with the doctor. But the treatment needs to be paid for up front. Sarah can't do it."
She pointed to the documents lined up on top of each other so only the signature line and witness lines were visible. "This is the transfer authorization you asked us to draw up for two hundred and fifty thousand pounds. It's more than enough.
James stared at the documents, at the photo of the little girl. His little girl. The programmer in his head was silent, stunned into submission by the potency of the drug and the sheer, overwhelming emotional payload of the scenario. The logic was screaming trap!, but the heart, the long-dormant, fragile heart that had been locked away for a decade, was screaming daddy!
"She needs you, James," Sarah whispered, her voice a desperate, loving caress. Her hand touched his thigh. "I need you. Please. Sign the form. Save our daughter."
She reached out her hand across the desk, her fingers trembling. James looked from her pleading eyes to the photo of the little girl, to the transfer authorization. It was the ultimate test. The ultimate bait. And as the first tear traced a path down his cheek, he knew, with a horrifying, soul-crushing certainty, that he was going to sign.
