A company called “Liberation"

My company is called “Liberation”. It’s a bland title designed not to draw attention to its purpose. I could have called it “Abduction and Extortion” – not a snappy title but one that probably says more about what I and my team actually do.

We are a small team, mainly women but a few men, who make an honest crust – alright it isn’t honest and it is far from a crust – out of extorting money from wealthy people.

We do this usually by abducting a close relative and demanding a ransom payment. We are very skilled at what we do. Research is a key element. We only target millionaires and billionaires. These people don’t mind giving away what you or I would think of as obscene amounts of money to get their loved one back in one piece, more or less in some cases!

We are picky about those we target. We leave Chinese and those connected to the Mafia well alone. Our ideal hunting ground is the nouveau rich in North America and Europe.

I could tell you lots of stories and remember every abduction is different. If you want me to you just have to ask. To “whet your appetite” and give you a flavour of what we do I will relate one case. Of course the name and location details have been changed – I don’t want you getting ideas about tracking my organisation down!
