Chapter 11

Chloe was forced to her knees on the cold, unforgiving hardwood of the hallway, the rubber suit creaking with every ragged breath she managed. Every part of her was a prison. The hood sealed her away, the corset crushed her ribs, the manacles fused her arms behind her back, and the collar was a constant, cold promise of pain. She was shaking, not just from the chill of the floor seeping through her boots, but from a terror so profound it felt like a physical entity clawing at her insides.

Annie, in stark contrast, was positively glowing. She had taken the time to transform herself into a vision of predatory beauty. A provocatively short silk negligee, the colour of spilled blood, clung to her curves, its delicate fabric doing little to hide the dark circles of her areolas or the bullet-hard nipples that strained against it. Suspenders bit into her thighs, holding up sheer, seamed stockings that ended in wickedly high heels. As she applied a final layer of mascara in the hall mirror, she spoke to Chloe's reflection, her voice a silken, venomous purr.

"I'm taking him from you, you know," she said, not looking at Chloe directly, but addressing her distorted, rubber-clad image. "Completely. He'll be mine. But if you're lucky, if you're a very, very good girl, I might let you stay. You can be our little pet. Our toy. Would you like that?" She turned, her eyes glinting with malicious amusement, and tapped her phone screen. A sharp, stinging jolt of electricity shot through Chloe's collar, making her convulse with a silent, muffled gasp. "Just a reminder," Annie chirped.

They waited. The silence stretched, thick with dread, until tires on gravel cut through it. A car door slammed. The familiar, heavy tread of Gary's footsteps on the path. The scrape of the key in the lock. The door swung open.

"What the fuck?" Gary's voice was a blast of disbelief, his eyes wide as he took in the scene: his wife, transformed into a grotesque rubber doll, kneeling at the feet of his lover, who was dressed like a dominatrix from his darkest fantasies.

Before he could think, Annie was on him. She moved with a fluid, predatory grace, closing the door behind him and pressing her body against his. Her hand went straight to his crotch, finding him already hardening, a testament to the power she held over him. She kissed him, a deep, possessive kiss that stole his breath and scrambled his thoughts, her tongue claiming his mouth. She was giving him no time to process, no space for morality or shock. Only sensation.

Then she pulled back, leaving him panting and dazed. She stepped aside, a flourish of her arm presenting the kneeling figure. "What do you think of our new pet, my love?"

Gary stared, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. "I'm... shocked," he said, his voice hoarse. "Is all this really necessary?"

"I think so, my love," Annie replied, her voice a masterclass in feigned reasonableness. She moved behind Chloe and stroked the rubber-clad head like a dog. "I wanted to make it unrecognizable. To make the transition easier for you. I didn't want you to see her and feel that... sympathy. That kind heart of yours is a weakness, darling. I'm just protecting you from it."

The words were poison, and they found their mark. Chloe sobbed silently, the sound trapped in her throat, a tear tracing a path through the makeup on her rubber cheek. It. She had called her 'it'. She was no longer a person. She was no one. Nothing.

Gary looked from the pathetic, whimpering creature on the floor to the stunning, powerful woman beside him. He made his choice. He moved forward and kissed Annie, a hard, decisive kiss. "So we're really doing this," he said against her lips. "Turning her into our pet."

"It, my love," Annie corrected him gently, her hand stroking his cheek. "It's a pet. It's important to make the distinction. If we're doing this, we're doing it the right way. We have to start off on the right foot." She looked deep into his eyes, her own a vortex of manipulation. "You are with me on this, darling, aren't you?"

Gary was lost, adrift in a sea of sensation and twisted logic. His common sense, his conscience, his entire history with Chloe were no match for the drug that was Annie's will. "Yes, Annie," he breathed, his voice thick with pathetic, desperate need.

Annie hugged him and kissed his neck. "Good boy. Let's go try it out. Let's show it what a real couple does." She took the leash from her pocket and pressed it into his hand. Then she turned and began to ascend the stairs, a swaying, hypnotic silhouette of silk and sex, leading them towards the master bedroom.

For a moment, Gary just stood there, the leash dangling from his fingers. He hung his jacket on the hook, his movements strangely calm. He took one last look at Chloe, at the obscene rubber breasts, the vacant, hooded face. And then, he grinned. It was a cold, cruel thing, the grin of a man shedding his last vestige of humanity. He took a firm grip on the leash and yanked.

Chloe cried out as the collar tightened, the sound a muffled squeak from behind the rubber mask. She was dragged forward, her high heels scrabbling for purchase on the floor, and forced up the stairs behind her husband and the woman who had stolen them both. The master bedroom, once a sanctuary, now loomed ahead like the entrance to her own tomb.
