Chapter 2 of 3
Chapter 2 - Charlie gets her dream
A week went by and Charlie had a big show coming up in a few days, her first solo modern lyrical number in front of a sold out audience.
Over the next week, the house shifted into a focused rhythm as preparations ramped up for Charlie's big show. It was a major milestone her very first solo number, featuring a heavily choreographed routine that showcased every ounce of her training and emotion.
Tickets were printed and neatly arranged for Daisy and Lauren, who both promised front-row seats and the loudest applause in the house.
Yet, as exciting as the countdown was, a quiet shadow lingered in the background. Charlie’s parents still hadn’t accepted her relationship, closing their doors and hearts to her life of being bisexual. But still for years, she had continued the ritual of mailing them tickets alongside a handwritten letter, hoping each time would be the one they finally decided to show up. But the seats remained empty, and the letters usually went unanswered.
Charlie stood in front of her vanity mirror, carefully pinning her hair into place for evening rehearsals, a faint trace of sadness crossing her face as she thought about the uncollected tickets.
but let’s go back a few days, Charlie didn’t realise that Daisy had been writing to her mum to find out what had been going on. Her mum was desperate to see her daughter perform but her father had banned it. Daisy wasn’t happy about this and so made contact with her mum to try and get her to come
Unbeknownst to Charlie, the routine she thought was a dead end had taken a secret turn a few days earlier.
While Charlie was busy at the studio, Daisy had quietly taken matters into her own hands. Fed up with seeing the quiet hurt whenever her girlfriend mailed off those unanswered envelopes, Daisy had tracked down Charlie’s mother through a private message and started a quiet correspondence.
The truth came spilling out in the messages: Charlie's mother was desperate to see her daughter perform and missed her fiercely, but her father had strictly forbidden it, holding firm to his stubborn prejudice and banning any talk of attending the shows.
Daisy, fierce and protective of her Princess, had absolutely no tolerance for it. Refusing to let family pride stand in the way of Charlie's happiness, Daisy had taken it upon herself to hatch a covert plan, determined to find a way to get Charlie's mother into that auditorium, no matter what it took.
she had arranged for her dad to go away with a friend over the days she show was on, her dad left with his mate far away on a trip paid for by Daisys company as a work thing. meanwhile dais sent a limo to pick up Charlie’s mum to bring her to a five-star hotel next to the theatre. where she met Daisy and Lauren in the bar, Charlie would only see her for the first time from the stage as they didn’t want her to meet before as it may be too much for her,
The logistics had required the kind of ruthless, flawless precision usually reserved for an IT product launch. First, Daisy used her company’s resources to fund an all-expenses-paid fishing and golf trip up north for Charlie’s father, conveniently accompanied by a lifelong mate who kept him entirely out of town for the duration of the show.
With the primary obstacle safely removed, Daisy executed phase two. A sleek, private limousine picked Charlie’s mother up from her doorstep, transporting her straight to a five-star hotel nestled right beside the theatre.
By the afternoon of the performance, Charlie’s mother was sitting comfortably in the hotel's plush lounge bar, sharing a glass of champagne with Daisy and Lauren while they reviewed the evening's schedule.
They had agreed on one strict rule: Charlie could not know her mother was in the building, and they wouldn't meet face-to-face before the curtain went up. The emotional shock right before a major debut would simply be too much for Charlie to handle while trying to focus on her routine.
"You know, looking back, I'm suddenly terrified," Daisy admitted, setting her glass down on the table. "What if seeing her mother in the front row completely throws her off mid-routine? Maybe you should sit in the upper circle tonight so she doesn't spot you right away. That way, if she handles the shock, you can move down to the front row tomorrow."
Charlie's mother nodded slowly, her hands trembling slightly around her own glass as the reality of the moment finally set in. "You might be right, Daisy. I just want to see her dance... I don't want to ruin her big night."
"It's a solid plan," Lauren chimed in, offering a reassuring smile and a gentle touch on her arm. "We'll play it safe for opening night, keep you out of her immediate line of sight, and let her pour all that emotion right into her modern lyrical number. She's going to be incredible."
The 2,000-seater theatre buzzed with electric energy, completely sold out from the stalls to the highest tier of the upper circle.
The first act flew by in a blur of music, lights, and dazzling group numbers, with Charlie darting on and off the stage in various costume changes. But as the house lights dimmed for the second half, a hush fell over the crowd. It was time for the headline solo—Charlie's modern lyrical number.
Backstage, Charlie took a deep, steadying breath, letting the emotional weight of the choreography take over. When the spotlight hit centre stage, she stepped into the glow, and from that exact second, she commanded the entire room. Every movement was fluid, expressive, and breathtakingly raw, perfectly translating years of passion and heartbreak into motion.
Up in the upper circle, safely tucked away in the shadows, Charlie's mother watched with trembling hands and tear-filled eyes, finally witnessing the brilliant dancer her daughter had become. Down in the front row, Daisy and Lauren sat completely spellbound, unashamedly in floods of tears as the final, soaring notes of the music echoed through the auditorium.
When the music cut, the audience erupted. A thunderous wave of applause and roaring cheers shook the walls, filling the massive theatre as Charlie stood center stage, chest heaving and blinking back her own tears of joy.
Minutes later, the full cast flooded the stage for the grand finale. The applause swelled once more as Charlie stepped forward to take her own dedicated solo bow, soaking in the love of the crowd. As the curtains finally swept inward, sealing the stage from view, the breathless rush of opening night washed over her.
Daisy and Lauren met Charlies mum in the bar, all 3 of them where in tears and her mum kept apologing to herself, wiping her eyes she we go and see Charlie, Daisy was not sure how this would go
After the house lights came up, Daisy and Lauren hurried backstage to the VIP lounge bar, where Charlie’s mother was waiting.
The moment they reached her, the emotional dam broke entirely. All three of them dissolved into fresh tears, pulling each other into a tight, sobbing group hug. Charlie's mother kept pressing tissue after tissue to her face, her voice trembling as she apologized over and over.
"I'm sorry, I'm just... I can't stop crying, she was so breathtaking," her mother choked out, dabbing furiously at her eyes and taking a shaky breath. "Right, let's go. Take me to see her."
"Are you sure?" Daisy asked gently, crossing her arms as a knot of anxiety tightened in her chest. "She has no idea you're even in the building. I'm... I'm honestly not sure how she's going to react to this." They knocked on the dressing room door she shared, inside the room was a whirlwind of discarded costumes and excited chatter among the other dancers. Daisy slipped in first, spotting Charlie by the mirror still wiping the final traces of stage makeup from her face.
"Princess, you were absolute magic out there," Daisy whispered, her voice thick with emotion as she crossed the room.
Charlie spun around and leaped into Daisy's arms, burying her face in her shoulder as they both let out the remaining tears of relief and exhaustion, holding each other tightly.
A nearby dancer packing up her bag caught sight of the emotional embrace and grinned knowingly. She nudged the person next to her and said loudly enough for the room to hear, "So this is Daisy."
Charlie pulled back, her cheeks flushing a bright pink through her tears. She wiped her eyes, offered a proud, watery smile to her castmates, and gestured to the woman holding her hand. "Sorry, everyone—this is my girlfriend, Daisy."
I can’t wait to see you tomorrow Princess.
Charlie scanned the crowded room, suddenly realizing someone was missing. "Wait, where is Lauren?"
"She's right outside," Daisy replied with a knowing, gentle look.
Charlie turned and walked quickly toward the dressing room door, pulling it open. "Lauren, please come—"
The words caught entirely in her throat.
Standing right there in the hallway, flanked by Lauren with a soft, encouraging smile, was her mother.
For a single heartbeat, the bustling backstage noise faded into absolute silence. Then, the shock melted away, replaced by an overwhelming wave of pure emotion. Charlie let out a sharp, choked sob, threw her arms around her mother's neck, and buried her face in her shoulder, holding her as tightly as if she might vanish into thin air.
"What's up, Princess?" Daisy asked gently, stepping closer to offer support.
Charlie slowly pulled back from her mother; her face wet with tears and her hands still tightly gripping her mother's shoulders. She turned her tear-filled eyes toward Daisy, the dots suddenly connecting in her mind—the mysteriously funded trip for her father, the timing, the impossible miracle of her mother standing right here backstage.
"It's you," Charlie breathed, her voice cracking with pure disbelief and overwhelming gratitude. "You did this."
Charlie pulled back from Daisy with a shining, tear-streaked smile, her hands still linked with Daisy's before she reached out and gently caught her mother's hand, drawing her across the threshold and straight into the room.
She looked between the two most important women in her life, her heart swelling until it felt fit to burst.
"My family," Charlie whispered, her voice thick with emotion as she pulled them both into a tight, shared embrace.
Around the dressing room, the other dancers quietly drifted away to give them space, while Lauren stood in the doorway with a soft, misty-eyed smile, watching the moment they had all worked so hard to make happen.
"Lauren, did you know?" Charlie asked, her voice a mix of awe and accusation.
Lauren grinned, stepping in for a quick, affectionate squeeze of her own. "Well... maybe just a little bit," she admitted, laughing softly as Charlie shook her head in sheer disbelief.
Daisy stepped back, glancing at her watch before clapping her hands together softly to break the spell.
"Alright, stop crying, Charlie, you've got stage makeup smeared halfway down your cheeks," Daisy said with a fond, commanding smile. "You need to get changed and dressed to go meet your public. Your fans are waiting out there."
She leaned in to press one last quick, proud kiss to Charlie's cheek. "We're going to head over and meet you in the hotel bar next door. Now go and be fabulous, Princess—we'll see you in a few minutes."
20 minutes later, Charlie appeared in the hotel bar, cocktail said Daisy. why not and Charlie sat next to her mum.
Twenty minutes later, the heavy velvet curtains and glittering lights of the theatre were behind her. Charlie pushed open the doors to the upscale hotel bar next door, her stage makeup finally washed away, dressed in casual clothes with her hair still tied up in those familiar space buns.
Daisy looked up from a corner booth, raising a hand to catch her attention and sliding smoothly into her role.
"Cocktail?" Daisy asked with a knowing smirk as Charlie approached the table.
Charlie let out a long, happy breath, sliding onto the plush banquette right next to her mother and leaning her head affectionately against her shoulder. "Oh, why not? After that, I think I've earned about three."
"Here is the plan, Charlie," Daisy said smoothly. "Your mum is staying right here at the hotel with us for the next two nights, and she will be sitting right in the front row for tomorrow's performance so she can see every single detail."
Charlie's eyes lit up, but before Daisy could map out any more logistics, the dam broke. All the pent-up questions, the longing, and the worry of the past few years rushed to the surface at once. Charlie turned completely toward her mother, grabbing her hands and firing off a rapid-fire string of questions.
"Mum, what did you think of the show? How are you holding up? How is Daddy, and how is the rest of the family? I have missed you all so, so much!"
Her mother squeezed Charlie's hands back tightly, tears brimming in her eyes once more as she prepared to answer.
I have missed you so much charlotte! Hearing the formal name, Daisy couldn't help herself. A quiet smirk tugged at the corner of her lips, her eyes dancing with playful amusement as she looked down at her drink.
Without even turning her head or looking away from her mother, Charlie instantly pointed a sharp finger straight at Daisy. "Stop it," she warned, a watery giggle breaking through her emotion.
Her mother offered a soft, knowing smile before her expression turned a bit more sombre. "It's just a shame your dad couldn't be here tonight."
Charlie's playful demeanour softened instantly. She looked down at their joined hands, a single, stray tear slipping free from her eye and tracking down her cheek. "I do miss him," Charlie whispered honestly, her voice thick with lingering pain. "Despite everything... he's the one who inspired me to dance in the first place."
they talked nonstop into the late hours; the director came over to Charlie looking at his watch. "Um, Charlie... hate to interrupt," the director said gently, "but you've got studio call time at 11:00 AM tomorrow, followed by show call at 12:30 for the matinee. Not to mention the four other shows you still have to grind through this week."
Charlie groaned good-naturedly, resting her forehead against the table for a second. "Yes, I know, I know."
Daisy smoothly pushed back from the booth and stood up, taking charge with an authoritative glint in her eye. "She's done for the night. I'm taking her up now."
As Daisy leaned down to help Charlie gather her coat, she brushed her lips against Charlie's ear and whispered, "We’re going to have fun tonight, Princess," while flashing a wicked, knowing look toward the director.
"Oh, we will," Charlie murmured back with a grin.
After a final round of warm hugs and tearful goodbyes with her mother and Lauren, Charlie and Daisy slipped away to the private elevators and headed up to their suite.
The moment Daisy unlocked and pushed open their hotel room door, Charlie didn't even give her a chance to step inside. With a sudden burst of adrenaline, Charlie shoved Daisy forward into the room, slammed the door shut, and leaped straight onto her back, wrapping her arms securely around Daisy's neck and her legs around her waist.
"I am way too hyped to sleep!" Charlie crowed into the quiet space.
Daisy stumbled forward a step against the sudden weight, laughing in surprise as she caught Charlie's thighs. "Princess, what are you doing? I'm exhausted!"
Instead of answering, Charlie leaned in close and playfully grazed the tip of her tongue against the sensitive shell of Daisy's ear, sending a sudden shiver straight down Daisy's spine.
Daisy fell on the bed, Charlie started playing kissing her face and before Daisy could catch her breath, Charlie was straddling her hips, a wild, radiant energy taking over. Charlie leaned down, peppering fast, enthusiastic kisses all over Daisy's cheeks, jaw, and nose, before suddenly hooking her fingers under the hem of Daisy's top.
With a mischievous grin, Charlie yanked the fabric up and buried her face against Daisy's bare stomach, blowing a long, loud raspberry right against her skin.
Daisy shrieked with laughter, squirming and grabbing futilely at Charlie's shoulders as the tickling vibrations sent her into fits of giggles.
"Stop! Charlie, you're impossible!" Daisy gasped through her laughter, trying to push her away, but Charlie just held on tighter, pressing kisses to her skin and murmuring, "I love you," over and over again like a joyful chant.
Daisy lunged downward, grabbing the heels of Charlie's white crocs and yanking them right off her feet to reveal her bare soles.
Charlie gasped, her eyes widening in immediate betrayal. "Hey! You can't just—"
She didn't even get to finish the sentence. Daisy wrapped her hands firmly around Charlie's ankles, trapping her legs in place, and buried her face directly against Charlie's exposed, sensitive soles, blowing a long, wet raspberry right across her ticklish arches.
Charlie shrieked, her entire body arching off the mattress as she kicked out helplessly, a fresh wave of uncontrollable laughter bursting from her lips. "Traitor! That is so foul! Let me go!"
Daisy kept going and going
Daisy refused to show any mercy, keeping her grip iron-tight around Charlie's ankles as she continued the relentless assault. She pressed her lips right against Charlie's most sensitive arches, blowing a rapid sequence of raspberries and following them up with light, teasing flicks of her tongue against the bare skin.
Charlie writhed wildly beneath her, her toes curling hard and her breath hitching as wave after wave of intense ticklish torture crashed over her.
"Daisy! Stop! Please!" Charlie squealed, gasping for air between helpless fits of hysterical laughter, her hands clawing desperately at the bedspread as she tried and failed to kick free. "I'm begging you! Uncle! Uncle!"
Daisy finally eased up just enough to look up, her face flushed and her eyes sparkling with absolute triumph. "Not until you admit who the superior tickler is, Princess!"
"No, I am," Charlie panted, a defiant grin breaking through her breathless laughter as she summoned a final surge of energy.
With a sudden, clever twist, Charlie wrenched her feet free from Daisy’s grip, hooked her legs around Daisy's waist, and flipped them over in one swift, acrobatic movement born from years of dance training.
Daisy let out a surprised squeak as the tables turned instantly. One second she was in total control, and the next she was pinned flat on her back against the mattress with Charlie straddling her hips, her eyes flashing with mischievous victory.
"Got you," Charlie crowed, leaning down with a wicked glint in her eye. "Now prepare to meet your doom."
Charlie did the thing Daisy hates, no don’t Charlie, she edged forward with her tongue out and started to lick Daisys face aghhhhhh aghhhhhhhh stop it
Daisy's eyes went wide with sheer horror as she realized what was coming.
"No! Don't, Charlie, seriously—don't!" Daisy shrieked, thrashing beneath her and trying desperately to block her face with her hands.
It was her absolute kryptonite—the one form of torture she couldn't defend against.
Charlie didn't hesitate for a second. Creeping forward on hands and knees with a wicked, predatory grin, she stuck out the tip of her tongue and lunged, dragging it in a slow, agonizingly wet stripe right across Daisy's cheek and up toward her ear.
"Aghhhhh! Aghhhhhhhh! Stop it! That is so gross!" Daisy wailed, dissolving into helpless, hysterical laughter and squeezing her eyes shut as she writhed wildly beneath Charlie's weight, totally defeated.
Charlie licked her whole face it was soaked, "Charlotte, stop it! Oh my god, you are actually feral!" Daisy shrieked, laughing so hard she couldn't catch her breath, her hands batting feebly at Charlie's shoulders as she tried to shield herself from the relentless wet assault.
Charlie finally pulled back with a triumphant grin, her own face flushed and breathing heavily, admiring her handiwork as Daisy lay pinned beneath her, utterly defeated and wiping her soaked face with the back of her hand with an expression of profound mock betrayal.
Charlie laid on top of her girlfriend than you and welled up, I really do love you
Charlie let the playful triumph fade from her eyes, the chaotic energy of the room suddenly softening into something quiet and deeply tender. She let out a long breath, sliding forward until she was lying completely flush against Daisy, resting her head softly on Daisy’s wet, flushed chest.
She wrapped her arms tightly around Daisy's waist, feeling the steady, comforting beat of her heart underneath. As the overwhelming reality of everything that had happened tonight—the roaring crowd, the reunion with her mother, and the sheer, beautiful madness of having the woman she loved orchestrating it all—finally washed over her, the emotional dam broke once more.
Charlie welled up, her shoulders trembling slightly as hot tears pressed against the fabric of Daisy's top.
She lifted her head just enough to look into Daisy's eyes, her voice thick, raw, and completely honest.
"Thank you," Charlie whispered, pressing a soft, lingering kiss right over Daisy's collarbone. "I really do love you. So much."
and gave her a massive kiss, it wasn't a soft or hesitant kiss, but a deep, fierce, and utterly consuming French kiss that poured every ounce of remaining adrenaline and overflowing gratitude right into it. Charlie's tongue swept past Daisy's lips, boldly curling and tangling with hers in a slow, deliberate rhythm that stole whatever air Daisy had left in her lungs.
Daisy let out a soft, breathless sigh against Charlie's mouth, her hands immediately sliding up to tangle into Charlie's hair, pulling her down even closer as she eagerly returned the intensity. The playful chaos of the room melted away completely, leaving only the warmth of each other and a love that felt entirely unbreakable.
Daisy's breath caught sharply, her fingers instantly tightening in Charlie's hair as she gasped against the sudden, intense shift in temperature. Charlie slid smoothly down the length of Daisy's body, her hands resting firmly on Daisy's hips as she settled comfortably between her knees. True to form, Daisy was completely commando, leaving her bare and entirely exposed to the warm air of the room.
Charlie paused for a heartbeat, looking up with a wicked, loving smile before leaning in close. With gentle, deliberate precision, she parted Daisy's sensitive folds with her fingers, revealing the flushed, highly responsive skin and the ultra-sensitive bud of her clitoris.
Without breaking eye contact for a second, Charlie flicked the tip of her tongue out and lightly traced it right across the top, feather-light and teasing to wake up the little mound.
Daisy arched off the mattress instantly, a loud, ragged gasp tearing from her throat as a violent shudder rolled through her entire body. Her legs trembled, and her grip on Charlie's hair tightened until her knuckles turned white.
"Oh—Charlie—" Daisy managed to choke out, her eyes flying shut as the sudden, exquisite shock of the contact left her completely breathless.
Charlie kept going and then sucked it and licked and sucked keeping Daisy on edge
Charlie didn't let up for a second, treating the hyper-sensitive skin with a slow, deliberate torture. She kept her tongue dancing in light, circular flicks before enveloping the sensitive bud entirely, drawing a warm, steady suction that made Daisy’s back bow hard off the mattress.
Just as Daisy’s breathing hitched and she began to chase the rising wave, Charlie eased the pressure, dropping back to gentle, teasing licks and soft, fluttering taps of her tongue. She played right on the absolute edge of release, alternating between deep, firm suction and feather-light sweeps that left Daisy completely unmoored.
"F-fuck, Charlie—don't stop, please—" Daisy gasped, her fingers tangling desperately in Charlie's hair as she writhed helplessly beneath the exquisite torment, completely at her mercy.
Charlie kept her going and going, sweat was everywhere Charlies perfect show hair was a mess, then Charlie nibbled, sucked and licked, Daisy was going mad her mind blank holding on to whatever she could curling her bare toes
The room grew warm, a thin film of sweat shining on their skin as the intensity steadily built. She offered no mercy, shifting her rhythm into a merciless combination of gentle nibbles, deep suction, and rapid, darting sweeps of her tongue that hit every sensitive nerve at once.
Daisy was completely undone. Her mind went utterly blank, stripped of every coherent thought except for the overwhelming, electric friction building deep inside her. Her fingers gripped the bedsheets until her knuckles ached, her back arched violently off the mattress, and her bare toes curled hard into the sheets as she fought to anchor herself to reality.
"Charlie—oh god—I'm—" Daisy choked out, her breath coming in ragged, broken gasps as she hovered right on the shattering edge of the precipice, completely at the mercy of the woman between her legs.
then it happened, Daisy’s back arched hard off the mattress, a sharp, breathless cry swallowed up by the quiet of the room as a powerful, rolling wave of release tore through her. The world truly exploded inside her, a blinding rush of white-hot heat and electric shivers that radiated outward from her core, locking every muscle in her body.
Charlie stayed right with her, holding her hips steady and absorbing every tremor, continuing her gentle, rhythmic attention as Daisy rode out the intense, lingering aftershocks.
For a long moment, the only sound in the room was the ragged sound of their heavy breathing and the steady thrum of their racing hearts. Slowly, the tension broke. Daisy collapsed back against the pillows, her limbs heavy and weak, completely boneless and staring up at the ceiling with wide, dazed eyes.
Charlie crawled back up the length of her body, her hair wild and face flushed, collapsing softly onto Daisy's chest with a breathless, triumphant laugh. She buried her face against Daisy's neck, pressing a warm, lingering kiss right over her pulse point as they both slowly drifted back down to earth.
she then licked the end of Daisys nose, i love you
Charlie gently shifted upward, resting on her elbows just above Daisy. She looked down at her girlfriend's flushed, utterly wrecked face, a soft, affectionate smile touching her lips.
Leaning down, Charlie gently pressed the tip of her tongue against the very end of Daisy's nose in a playful, lingering swipe.
Daisy let out a weak, breathy chuckle, her eyes fluttering open as she weakly tried to swat Charlie away with a half-hearted swipe of her hand. "You're a menace," she whispered fondly.
Charlie just grinned, sliding back down to press her cheek against Daisy's chest, her arms wrapping securely around her waist as she listened to the steady slowing of Daisy's heartbeat.
"I love you," Charlie murmured softly into the quiet room, closing her eyes as exhaustion finally began to pull them both under.
the next they both remember was the alarm going off at 7am
The harsh, persistent chiming of the phone alarm shattered the quiet of the morning at exactly 7:00 AM.
Daisy groaned, blindly swatting at the bedside table until her hand connected with the screen, instantly silencing the noise. Beside her, Charlie stirred, burying her face deeper into the mattress with a muffled complaint about sleep deprivation and early mornings.
"If I have to be in the studio by eleven, I am legally allowed to commit murder," Charlie mumbled into the pillow, her voice thick with sleep and her show hair completely flattened from the night before.
