All the time Sally had been talking, Karen held her hand supportively, the love and devotion clear in Karen’s eyes.

“Well, as I have told the gang about how I started with Barney, maybe you should tell them about you catching me,” Sally said, “and also what happened then.”

“OK,” said Karen, clearing her throat, “Well, you may, or may not know, but I have fancied Sally since school.”

“Wow, breaking news,” Shelly said, and the crazy eight all laughed loudly.

“After Kevin died, I tried to be a good friend to her without being too invasive,” then she paused before she went on, “But to be honest, I still wanted to get inside her panties in the worst way, but didn’t want to take advantage of a grieving widow. We lived close to each other back then, and Sally had given me a key, so I tried to give her whatever she needed.”
