The room went silent as the women all digested the images that Shelly had imprinted in their brains, but it was Karen who broke the silence,

“What did you mean when you said about Victoria would know when you said about being bisexual?” Karen asked probingly.

Shelly laughed as she looked at Victoria, “If one of us got lucky when we were at university, we would share if the guy was up for it, which most of the time they were. If there were no guys around, then we would give each other a helping hand…”

“…or tongue,” Victoria added.

“Wow,” said Kate wistfully, “wish my ex-husband had been supportive like that.”

“Do you mean with a helping hand?” Victoria giggled.

“Or tongue?” Shelly added gleefully.

“No, I mean with dogs,” Kate said quietly.

“Don’t tell me you have fucked dogs as well?” Victoria said, stunned, “And if so, when the hell was that?”

“I grew up on a farm; it was Sebastian, our sheepdog, who took my virginity at 18.”

“You mean before you came to university,” gasped Linda, “and you never told us…you sly fox.”

“Well, it’s not the normal topic of conversation…Hi, my name’s Kate and by the way, I fuck dogs.”

They all laughed, but Linda pressed on, “Well, as I was your roommate for three years and you never mentioned it before, so you can spill the beans now and give us all the details.
