Chapter 6 of 18
The cell door closed with a sound that carried down the empty stone corridor and ended there.
Torres left first. The orderly and the guards came after, carrying the black box out with them. What stayed behind was what they had meant to leave and where they meant to leave it: Kaylah, nearly gone, barely awake on the thin mattress, and the young, thickly built Black prisoner named Reggie—still inside the bars with her.
She lay where they had placed her, lost in the high. It was huge, bright, wrecking. Had she been clear-headed, she would have despised it. Clarity had already slid out of her grasp.
Torres paused at Steve’s cell.
“I suppose we can take your handcuffs off too, Señor Jordan. Turn around and back up to the bars.”
Steve’s face was still swollen, his lip still split, but the hatred on it was plain. Hatred opened no locks. He turned and held out his bound wrists—the metal had been grinding into them for hours, and saying no would only earn him worse.
The cuffs came off.
“From in there you can’t do much,” Torres said with a laugh, “except watch them together. Perhaps you will enjoy that.”
Steve turned back around, working his fingers over the raw rings the iron had left in his skin.
“Don’t do this to her!” Steve pleaded.
Torres looked at him a moment longer and smiled the smile of a man whose trap has already sprung.
Then he was gone. The guards went with him, and the orderly too.
Three prisoners stayed behind in two cells side by side, separated by bars instead of a wall.
The corridor cleared out. The stone held the sound of their footsteps longer than it should have, as if the building itself meant for Steve to grasp the arrangement: he could see her, he could hear everything that happened next, and there was nothing he could do about any of it.
What Torres had put into Steve Jordan’s wife was working.
It did more than fog her mind. It took apart the piece of her that could still put things together. Sensations came in with no order. Faces had swelled up and faded away. The cell, the stranger, her husband’s voice from beyond the bars—none of it stayed put long enough to become a thought she could use. Innocence was no shield against what they had run into her veins. It only made the wrecking more profound.
And there was worse.
Under the addicting flood, something else had been packed into that dose—quieter, slower, aimed at a different part of Kaylah Jordan entirely, a private part of her and far more sensitive. It had not announced itself yet. It waited its turn, like a second mouth set to open inside her while the first one was still chewing.
She was not the only one Torres had meddled with.
Her dose was the cruel kind, meant to break a life. Reggie, standing in that same narrow cell, had been handled more gently. A chemical had gone into his food without his knowing—not to destroy him, but to help him along, to coax what Torres wanted coaxed, to press his twenty-year-old body toward the job Torres had picked out for it. Only now was it stirring in him: slow as heat, a push behind his will.
Two bodies shared the stone cell.
One was a ruin of light on the mattress.
The other stood, heat gathering in his blood like a slow poison.
The meeting Torres had arranged began without a word.
Reggie looked down at the woman.
Kaylah lay half-gone, her lips shaping sounds that had lost their meaning.
The chemical pull in Reggie was no longer an urge but a command. The air in the cell grew thick, heavy with intention.
He stepped closer.
Steve saw it from the other side of the bars and knew what came next.
“No! Get away from her! Don't you dare fucking touch her!”
The cry ripped from his throat, scraping the old stone walls. He threw himself at the gaps between cells, arms shoved through the iron, reaching into nothing. The space was inches. It was infinite. His fingertips brushed the edge of her thin mattress but found no purchase, as though the room itself had calculated his helplessness.
On the bunk, Kaylah murmured something wet and broken to the man now standing over her. She could not piece together where she was or why her husband was shouting. The drug held her in its bright, stupid grip, while Steve watched the first touch happen and could not move to intercept it.
The bars held.
Steve kept screaming anyway—a raw, useless noise in a place that only echoed it back.
He could only watch.
Across the divide, the prisoner put his hands on Kaylah and began to slowly remove her clothes. Steve saw the green prison pants slide down her legs and drop to the floor. She made a noise that might have been “no,” too slurred to matter, too weak to save her.
Then the top came off.
Her breasts were high and full, the nipples stiff and bare. Around them the areolas showed pale pink, smooth as satin, each one a neat circle almost the size of a half-dollar.
She was on the thin mattress in nothing but the pink panties they’d given her, caught in a drugged twilight, exposed to the man in her cell and to her husband watching helpless from behind the iron bars.
The corridor kept Steve's helplessness like something it had won. Whatever Torres had started was no longer on its way.
It was here.
Steve knew what the next move meant before it started.
The last scrap of pink cotton was only a courtesy, a small gesture the place had made so it could take that too. Steve watched her fingers clutch at the waistband of her panties as Reggie began to peel them down. “N-n-nah,” she slurred, a wet and broken sound. He saw the thin pink cotton stretch tight against her skin, then slip from her weak grasp, snapping free with a whisper before sliding down the length of her thighs and calves. Her hands were the last defense, cupped tight over herself. He watched them tremble, a frail barrier between her body and what was coming.
Kaylah made a noise that never shaped itself into a word.
Steve’s grip closed on iron. The bars did not care that she was his wife, or that she could not lift herself, or that the man in her cell had already been pointed toward this moment. What was coming would not be love and would not be choice. It would be use. A carnal joining and a theft done in plain sight of the one man who would have died to stop it.
Steve could not look away.
The cell seemed to crowd in around his wife's bunk, waiting for the instant when watching would get worse than it already was.
Steve’s throat had been worn raw. All his screaming had done was let the stone learn his voice.
He was a spectator now, and there was no worse way to be one. The Black man was on the bunk with her. He kissed her slowly, starting at her ears, moving down her neck, then to her breasts. He stayed there too long, drawing her nipples into his mouth until they stood stiff in the prison air.
Every sound from the next cell carried over clean to Steve—Kaylah moaning without words, Reggie sucking wet at one breast, then the other. The quiet stretches were worse. That was all Steve could manage without the world coming apart. Kaylah did not rise to stop it. She did not turn toward her husband’s shout as if it could still reach her. The high had taken the part of her that would have known this for what it was.
Steve gripped the iron until his hands lost feeling.
The Black thug pushed Kaylah’s hands aside, pinning them to the mattress. He forced her legs apart, and lowered his head between them. Steve watched, a helpless witness to the prisoner violating her with his mouth. Whatever they had given her left her limp beneath him, offering little resistance.
The nightmare was no longer on its way.
Steve Jordan watched.
Kaylah lay sprawled on her back across the narrow prison bunk, a pale, helpless shape against the stained mattress. The drugs Torres had put in her had done their work; she was present only as a body now, not as a will. Above her, the other man filled the small cell’s dimness, a dark mass blotting out what little light reached the bed.
The bars cut the scene into strips. Steve’s hands were on them anyway, as if iron might suddenly become distance he could cross. It did not.
He could see enough. His wife nude, unguarded. The stranger between her spread legs. Her hands rose weakly, pushing at the crown of his head as he buried his face against her, the stone room holding them both with the patience of a place that had hosted this kind of violation many times before.
Steve’s voice was already gone to rawness. What remained was watching—forced, intimate, and utterly useless—while the silhouette of his marriage was pinned beneath another man and the building leaned in to make certain he did not miss it.
Steve watched the man spread her open with two fingers, working inside her, laying her bare the way you’d strip the peel off a fruit. There was no hair left to hide a single inch of her...
Steve recalled how she’d wavered over the laser treatments — six sessions, she’d counted them out on her fingers in the consultation room, flinching at the cost, asking the technician three times if it would scar. She was embarrassed at having it done. He’d sat next to her holding her hand, telling her it was worth it. He’d wanted to see her in that tiny white bikini on the secluded Mexican beach they’d booked, wanted no dark line showing through the fabric, wanted her smooth as a doll for him in the sand. In the end she’d said yes because he asked...
Now every inch of her was on display for this other man’s hands, and Steve couldn’t stop watching, and he regretted every word he’d ever spoken to get her into that clinic.
Now a stranger’s thumb moved over the bare skin above her clit — skin she’d burned smooth for Steve, in a clinic where Steve had sat beside her and held her hand. Now Steve stood gripping the bars, watching a strange man who knew nothing about her drag his tongue across what Steve had wanted so badly to see.
The Black man’s fingers slid into her, slow and unhurried, parting her the way you’d unwrap something you planned to keep. She was wet. Not the damp of a woman half-awake — a flood, slick enough that his fingers glided in without a hitch, gathering wetness and dragging it back over her in long, lazy strokes like he was oiling a blade.
Kaylah couldn’t stop it. She couldn’t even squeeze her thighs together; the muscles there had gone slack and willing under what Torres had fed into her veins.
Steve watched his wife. His wife spread wide for another man, her wetness running off the man's knuckles in the dim cell light, her hips tilting up off the mattress for him in small blind pushes she didn’t even know she was making. Steve tried to make sense of it. He knew the drugs were doing it — that her body had been leased out from under her and was now answering a stranger while she drifted somewhere above it, unable to claim any of it as hers.
The man put his mouth on her again, and Steve’s gut twisted over itself. He watched the tongue move in slow, unhurried circles—wet, steady pressure where no stranger had ever been. A thumb peeled back the delicate skin there, laying bare the raw, shaking flesh beneath. Her whole body bucked, hips rising off the mattress with nothing she could do about it. Steve’s voice cracked as he begged, “No… stop doing that to her. She doesn't like that. It’s disgusting…”
Reggie pulled back slowly, his lips and chin shining with her wetness. He turned, and his smile cut across his face like a blade. “Gotta tell ya, dog— this here be some prime, sweet tastin' pussy your former wife got. Think I'm gonna be goin' down on her a lot while we sharin' a cell. Maybe you ain’t ever known how to do it right, ’cause look at how she be takin' to it.”
Steve felt his own legs go unsteady, a cold weakness running through him from the knees up.
Reggie undressed in measured stages—first the shirt, then the bottoms—his young torso a map of dark ink over hard muscle. And then he showed himself—his cock was huge, thick as a forearm, jutting forward at full hardness, an instrument more than a part of him.
“I’m gon’ love your ex-wife like she never been loved before. Gonna introduce her to Black cock, open her up completely and ruin her. She never gonna want to be with a white dude again,” he snarled, his voice a low rasp that moved along the stone walls.
"No, leave her alone!" Steve tried to scream with his horse voice.
Reggie climbed back onto the stained mattress. His precum hung in long, slow strings, landing one by one on Kaylah’s shaking belly. He hooked his fingers into the soft meat of her thighs and pried them wider, peeling her open with a soft, practiced push. Her clit stood bare under the light, pulsing, a knot of sensation she couldn’t turn off. He dragged the swollen head of his cock over it—slow, unhurried—the slick friction pulling a gasp out of her that bent her spine off the bed. The smell of the two of them rose in the cell.
"You like how that feel, baby?" Reggie asked.
“What are you doing to her? No!… No more… Stop!” Steve’s voice came apart, scraped raw, as he watched Reggie’s cock—thick and veined—work against his wife’s most tender flesh. Every ridge of it left its mark on her, and on him too; Steve felt each pass like a fist sunk into his own gut. When Reggie flicked his thumb back to bare her clit and kept grinding the head of his cock against her, Steve understood the word torture in a way he never had before—deliberate, cold, exact.
Reggie and Kaylah's breathing filled the cell—his rough, hers cut through with small cries she tried to swallow—a twisted weave of sound as she drifted in and out of herself. When she surfaced, she knew where she was, whose bunk, whose weight; terror and revulsion fought a losing battle against the wet heat between her legs and the way her hips rose to meet him without ever asking what she wanted.
Steve watched Reggie cross a boundary Kaylah had set years ago and never once softened. Kaylah cried out as her cellmate pushed into her, deep, her own wetness sheathing his thick shaft—a gift her body had prepared without asking her. Her pussy squeezed around him, a tight, blind clutch that came from reflex, not choice, holding him inside her like it wanted him there.
