Chapter 3 of 21
The first month of the new regime was a crucible, forging a new reality within the two small Rochester houses. The steel cages, cold and unyielding, were a constant physical reminder of the husbands' new status. Frank, with his brute strength and stubborn pride, spent the first few days in a frenzy of futile effort. He tried everything he could think of to remove the device. He attempted to pick the lock with a hairpin, only to scratch the steel and irritate his skin. He tried to force it, grunting and straining in the bathroom until he was red-faced and sweating, but the design was flawless; there were no weak points, no seams to exploit. He even considered smashing it off with a hammer, but the thought of the inevitable, and likely permanent, injury stayed his hand. Arthur, ever the engineer, approached the problem with methodical despair, examining the lock mechanism with a magnifying glass and concluding, with a sinking heart, that it was a masterpiece of craftsmanship, designed to be inescapable.
Their failure was Celia and Eleanor's triumph. The women began to shed their wartime utility clothing and the drab aprons of housewifedom, replacing them with silk dressing gowns that clung to their curves, lacy negligees worn under their housecoats, and stockings that peeked out from under hems raised just a little too high. They moved through their homes with a new, predatory grace, their every gesture a calculated display of the power they now held. They would bend over in front of their husbands to pick something up, giving them a tantalizing glimpse of what was now forbidden. They would sit opposite them at the dinner table, slowly licking sauce from their fingers, their eyes glinting with amusement at the men's obvious, painful frustration.
The denial was a potent aphrodisiac for the women and a unique form of torture for the men. By the end of the third week, the begging had begun. It started with pleading, pathetic attempts to bargain. "Please, Celia," Frank would groan, his voice thick with need. "I'll do anything. Just take it off. Just for one night." Arthur's approach was more subdued, a constant, whiny undertone of complaint about discomfort and health concerns. "It's not right, Eleanor," he'd whisper. "A man needs... relief. It's unhealthy."
Their pleas fell on deaf ears, music to Celia and Eleanor's ears. It was Eleanor who found the solution, not in a book of female domination, but in a dusty old medical text she'd borrowed from the local library. One afternoon, while the men were scrubbing the kitchen floors on their hands and knees, she called Celia over, pointing to a passage. "Look at this," she said, her voice hushed with excitement. "About the male reproductive system. It says here that regular drainage of the prostate gland is essential for long-term health, to prevent congestion and the risk of disease."
Celia read the passage, her eyes widening. It described a method of internal massage to induce ejaculation without the need for an erection. A slow, wicked smile spread across her face. "So, we can keep them healthy... but on our terms. No pleasure for them, just a... a maintenance procedure."
"Exactly," Eleanor confirmed. "But we need to practice. And we have the perfect test subject."
They found Briggs the next day at the engineering works, leering at a young apprentice as she struggled with a heavy piece of metal. "Mr. Briggs," Eleanor said, her voice crisp and authoritative. "A word."
He followed them to a secluded corner of the workshop, near a large, idle lathe. "What is it, then?" he asked, his greasy smile firmly in place. "Missed me?"
"We need to test a procedure," Celia explained, holding up a tube of lubricant. "For the health of our husbands. And you're going to be our volunteer."
Briggs's smile faltered. He looked from the tube to their determined faces, a flicker of fear in his eyes. "What sort of procedure?"
"Relax, Mr. Briggs," Eleanor purred, stepping closer and running a finger down his chest. "You might even enjoy it. It's for a good cause. Now, be a good boy and take off your trousers and kneel down over here."
The lie was transparent, but their combined will and the veiled threat of what they could reveal about his extracurricular forging activities were enough to make him comply. Hesitantly, he knelt, his back to the lathe. With swift movements, they looped thick leather belts around his wrists and ankles, securing him to the heavy machine. He was immobilized, his vulnerability exposed.
"I thought... you said I'd enjoy it," he stammered, a tremor in his voice.
"Oh, you misunderstood," Celia said sweetly, picking up the thick leather belt he had been wearing. "We said we might enjoy it. This is to ensure you understand your position, Mr. Briggs. You are a tool. And you will be used as we see fit."
With that, she raised the belt and brought it down hard across his bare buttocks. The crack of leather on skin echoed in the quiet workshop. Briggs yelped, more from shock than pain. Eleanor took her turn, then Celia again. They beat him methodically, their strokes hard and precise, leaving angry red welts on his skin. His protests turned to grunts of pain, then to choked sobs. It wasn't about pleasure; it was about breaking him, about cementing their absolute authority. When he was a quivering, submissive mess, they stopped.
"Now for the procedure," Eleanor said, as if nothing had happened.
Celia knelt behind him, her touch clinical and detached. She applied the lubricant and, following the instructions in the medical book, began the internal massage. Briggs squirmed and whimpered, a mixture of pain, humiliation, and a forced, unwanted physical response. It was a degrading, clinical milking, devoid of any intimacy or passion. When he finally ejaculated, it was a shuddering, pathetic release, an expulsion of fluid but certainly not of pleasure. They left him there, tied to the lathe, a broken and humiliated man.
That evening, they performed the procedure on their own husbands. To maximize the humiliation, they did it together. Celia and Eleanor brought Frank and Arthur into Celia's front room. They made them strip and had them kneel side by side. Until that moment, neither man had realized the other was in the same predicament. They looked at each other, a shared glance of horror and shame passing between them.
"Frank, this is Arthur," Celia said brightly. "Arthur, Frank. I believe you're both experiencing similar... inconveniences."
The joint milking was an act of supreme psychological dominance. As Eleanor worked on Arthur and Celia worked on Frank, the women chatted casually about their day, about the price of mince, about a new hat they had seen in a shop window. They ignored the grunts and whimpers of the men between them, treating them as nothing more than livestock being tended to. The release, when it came, was simultaneous, a final, ultimate indignity. They were not men; they were specimens, controlled and drained by their wives. As they cleaned up, the men knew, with a certainty that chilled them to the bone, that there was no way back.
