Chapter 26: Learning the New Body
Lucy was home.
The transport crate opened in the familiar nursery. The air smelled of the house—detergent, baby powder, the faint underlying scent of Mommy and Daddy that the daycare conditioning now made her body recognize with an immediate, low pulse of heat. She was lifted out, still ring-gagged, still mittened, the thick daycare diaper heavy between her legs. Mommy’s hands were the first to touch her.
Kate did not rush.
She took Lucy to the changing table, unlocked the plastic panties, cut away the used diaper, and examined every modification with slow, proprietary attention. Fingers pressed the softened gums, traced the smaller curve of the reduced breasts, and finally spread Lucy open to study the permanent gape left by the Ass Destroyer. Kate’s breath caught once, quietly, as if the sight pleased her more than she had expected.
“You’re different now,” she murmured. “Mommy needs to teach you how this new body works.”
The lesson began on the soft nursery carpet.
Kate showed her how to sit. The old way—knees together, posture upright—no longer worked. The slack, stretched entrance made certain positions leak or gap openly. Kate corrected her patiently, pressing Lucy’s thighs into a wider, more childish splay that kept the diaper from shifting wrong and protected the open, vulnerable rim. Every adjustment was narrated in the soft, high voice Mommy used when she was being kind.
“Like this, baby. Open. That’s how Little Lucy sits now.”
Crawling had to be relearned as well. The spiked booties still punished any attempt to rise, but the altered anatomy changed her center of gravity and the way the heavy padding pulled. Kate guided her on hands and knees across the plush floor, one hand occasionally resting at the small of her back or briefly pressing between her legs to remind her of the new emptiness that needed to be kept covered and supported.
Speaking was harder.
Without teeth the ring gag sat differently. Sounds came out wetter, softer, less shaped. Kate sat on the floor with her and practiced, making Lucy attempt simple coos and muffled words, then rewarding approximate successes with the bottle or a brief caress. The toothless mouth made even the smallest noises feel babyish and helpless. Lucy’s face burned, but the conditioning and the residual daycare drugs kept her compliant.
This is my mouth now. Soft. Collapsed. I can’t bite. I can’t speak properly even if she ever takes the gag away. She likes it. She likes that I sound like this.
The reduced breasts required their own instruction. The discipline bra no longer fit the same way. Kate tried different soft tops and onesies, showing Lucy how the smaller shape sat under the fabric, how the nipples—still pierced—caught differently against the material. When she tightened a lighter version of the discipline bra, the compression was less extreme than before but still present, a constant reminder that even this part of her had been edited to suit Mommy’s preference.
They cut pieces off me so I would look more like what she wanted. I keep waiting to feel furious. Mostly I just feel tired and open and aware of every place they changed.
Throughout the afternoon Kate remained close. She changed Lucy twice more, each time lingering over the gape, applying ointment, powdering her, and locking the plastic panties back into place with quiet satisfaction. She fed her slowly, supporting the toothless mouth around the nipple, wiping drool, speaking in the soft running commentary that had become the soundtrack of Lucy’s new life.
“Good girl. That’s the way. Mommy’s little baby is learning so well.”
Lucy’s internal resistance had gone quieter since daycare. The sharp spikes of defiance were rarer. In their place sat a low, constant despair that felt almost calm. She performed each new movement as instructed. She opened when told to open. She tried to form the wet, shapeless sounds Mommy wanted. She did not fight the diaper or the mitts or the knowledge that her body would never again close the way it once had.
If I ever left, I would still have to sit like this. I would still need the padding. I would still have this soft empty mouth and these smaller breasts and the smell of powder making me wet. There is no version of me that goes back. There is only this version, learning how to be what she wants.
Late in the day Kate placed her in the great crib, secured the soft restraints, and climbed in beside her for a while. One hand rested possessively over the front of the fresh diaper. The other stroked Lucy’s bare scalp. The house was quiet. Somewhere downstairs Charles moved through the rooms, still half a stranger to the full intensity of what his wife was building.
Lucy stared at the crib bars and practiced breathing around the new shape of her mouth.
She was home.
She was learning her body.
And the lessons, she understood now, would never really end.
