Chapter 2 of 7
Hello my kin, I hope your time has been great. Your time as a new god will be fun but tiring. It's the promise we give to the universe when we swear to protect it. In my story, I will explore a relationship I had in the year 2030. Quite a while ago, but it was the biggest year of my life (don't tell Hecate). First, I wish to give you a better description of my body and personality. I think understanding someone from their own eyes is essential. First off, I am very fluffy. My fur is the softest material in the universe and since I constantly shed. My fur gets used in our village for blankets, beds, and pillows. I am 20 feet tall on all four legs, 30 feet on two legs, have white fur with red streaks around my tail and eyes, have black paws, have a maw that glows on the inside, have three stomachs, four lungs, one heart, a hypersensitive nose, hypersensitive ears, hypersensitive tastebuds, and a 17-foot long tail which has a black tip on it. I, like many of you, do not need to eat though it is a pleasurable activity. Something to state is that I also do not have good vision. You'd practically need to be right in front of me in order for me to see you. That being said, I typically see differently. If you've seen the show "Avatar: The Last Airbender" then you should understand what I'm about to say. I am able to "see" with both sounds and vibrations in the ground. I can still see silhouettes though, so don't expect me to completely miss you and trample you. I count as a primordial being, like Hecate, though my powers are nothing like hers. I'm the second most powerful being in the universe, though my knowledge is nothing when compared to the Trio. Now that my proper description has been had, I will begin my story. I hope to inspire my fellow board members to be more detailed with their stories. Hecate's was great, though I plan for it to be better. Anyways, let's begin! The mortal world was still dealing with the aftershock of their major virus, the one we higher-ups had to deal with. We saw too much potential in it. I was actually one of a few that were sent down for them. I fell in love with a leader of the nation known as the United States of the West. I'll now begin the story. "So, Gekido, I will be sending you down to assist the leader of the United States of the West. She was recently elected due to her promises to help fix their own economy after the global crisis they had. As my right hand, I expect great news upon your return. The Trio will be going to the rest of the countries to help them. You are forbidden to guide them politically or spiritually. Is that understood?" She spoke sternly with a slight rasp in her voice. She had one too many berries the night before. I nodded," Of course Hecate, I'd never do anything to disrupt their politics. I am curious, isn't this our first time letting the mortals know of us?" She laughed a bit, but nodded and then spoke with a smile in her eyes," If you ignore Egypt and Africa, then yeah. Though those were during their first years of intelligence so I suppose disregarding those experiences wouldn't be bad. Now, you have 24 hours to prepare but you must be there by tomorrow this time. The mortals are unaware of us, even the leaders. You must be exceptional in your behaviour to show we aren't controlling them or trying to. We are simply there to help. Is that understood?" Her tone was serious, though I would be ready very quickly. Just needed to grab my berry wine and I'd be fine. The thing was aged by a thousand years, a delicacy up here. She dismissed me and as I left the Trio gave me a nod of understanding. Aisura read my mind and shared it all with the rest of her group. Hecate understood and gave them minimal supplies. They cannot reshape matter nor destroy it so preparation would be important for them if they wished to be comfortable. I went back to my cabin, enjoying the warmth of the five-story building. I grabbed my wine, put it in a purse, and then smiled. My feral body was still able to use a purse, I hadn't forgotten how to fashion it! I was happy, then I calmed myself. I walked to our gates and left the village, then appeared in the US capital. Of course, I was instantly shot at. I giggled as they shot me, though they all bounced off. It kinda tickled! I sat and spoke with demand, "Take me to your leader. I am here to help. I'm one of the messengers from the gods." I bowed to them, showing my respect and understanding. They pointed to a door down the hall and ran away immediately, making me giggle. Those guards were quite cute, even for humans. I walked down to the room and walked right in, interrupting the meeting that was happening. "Holy mother of fucking god!" They all pointed their guns at me after yelling their exclamations. I smiled and bowed, then spoke," I'm here as a messenger from the gods above. We have seen the suffering your world has gone through and I was sent here to assist in the rebuilding of your country. Three other gods have been dispatched to other countries, though I was sent here because I'm the right hand of the leader of the universe." I stayed bowed while wagging my nine tails. Did I mention that yet? Anyways, one of them shot at me it bounced right off. They emptied their mag, though my fur wasn't even dirtied at all. I'd go into a laying position, loafing my body, and then waited for a response. It was up to them if they got our help, though we heavily did encourage it. "What is black matter?" One of the people in the meeting wanted proof, so I gave it to them. "Black matter is a matter that has been touched by a god or deity. You, mortals, cannot comprehend it because your mind would literally explode if you even physically saw an actual mass of dark matter. Only gods who can control their bodies are allowed to come here for fear of creating too much dark matter. My paws are not creating dark matter, nor is the rest of my body," I calmly answered. I had no way to back my evidence, even though It was true. "What is…" I was there answering question after question, losing my patience. After about three hours I finally spoke up," Okay, do you want the gods' help? If not, I can ascend back to the heavens immediately." After about a minute of silence, the leader spoke," My name is Rida, and if you truly are a god, we'd love your assistance." She spoke softly but with a stern undertone, similar to Hecate. I nodded and sat at the end of the table, though I had to move a chair out of the way. "Please continue as if I wasn't here," I requested nicely. They all nodded and Rida spoke," As I was saying before, we are currently at chance a war between us and the Russian Federation. They've taken full control over all of Europe and Africa. Since we combined with Canada and Mexico to make the new United West, we believe we can handle it roughly, though is there any suggestions as to how we can prevent a possible war?" She had a bit of concern in the back of her throat. I read her soul and she was terrified. I had to speak up, even if Hecate would get angry," I'm not supposed to speak on your politics, though if I may I wish to assist with this. May I?" They all nodded and so I continued to speak," I believe me and the Trio may be able to assist in this. We won't change any of your political systems, don't get that wrong, but we will do what we can to prevent this war. The Trio is made up of three deities which hold more knowledge than even the creator of the universe herself. I have lived as long as the creator herself so I believe my experience will assist greatly as well. The Trio are all caring and will do anything to help people. I trust they will agree." I was very confident and they all nodded in agreement. "And what if they disagree?" I could tell who it was that spoke, though I didn't look at them," I think you forgot that I'm still here. Even if they disagree, they won't stop me. One, they physically can't. Two, they care about others more than themselves. It's a nice attempt at a "gotcha" but I promise I'll have a rebuttal to anything you say or ask. I've lived since the dawn of the universe, my wisdom is beyond yours. Is there anything else you want to know?" They all nodded and so I laid my head down on their table and let them speak. I answered questions for another three hours before the meeting ended, though everybody except the leader left. "You say you can help, though in how many ways? We have been destabilised since 2019, how can you help us? I want to believe it, but I can't," She laid her head in her hands," I can't go one day without a meeting and my children hardly recognise my own voice. They know their damn nanny more than me. I just want to take a break, though every other candidate is terrible. What can you possibly do to help me?" I walked over to her and nuzzled her face. My maw is extremely fuzzy, so it induces a relaxing feeling in those I nuzzle. "I could maybe treat you to a date. I hear that's a way for you humans to relax. I even got my own wine here. I hope you like berries!" I looked into her eyes, hoping to help her, and she agreed. I smiled and laid down, allowing her to get on my back. I told her to grab at my scruff when finally up and to put her legs next to my front paws. She did just this and we trotted to our destination. During this, we didn't do much or communicate besides nuzzles and purrs. Many citizens were concerned with us and this made me frown but I understood. An enormous fox trotting with the leader of an enormous country would definitely concern me. Even more so if the leader was riding the giant fox like a horse. Quite funny to me now that I'm thinking of it. Anyways, we walked around for a bit until we found a cute little cafe which sold coffee, tea, and many other common beverages. Not that different from food, though either was fine by me. We walked inside and the story would then continue. "So, I've never been to Earth in the modern day. What's this place? What would you recommend from here?" My questions were rapid, though her answers were also rapid," This place sells mostly drinks made from plants such as tea, coffee, and kombucha. I would recommend tea if you decide to get anything other than a wine glass." I smiled at this and walked to a table, then sat next to it. The table was in the middle of the room, was set on a granite floor, and had placemats on all four sides with utensils. I sat on a side without a chair and Rida moved a chair to be across from me. I took note that human mortals wear terrible cloth fabrications on their bodies. I don't know why this occurred only now to me, but it did. "I appreciate you doing this, and I hope this can help you relax. I'd greatly recommend trying the tea, though only if you do not want any wine. I'll put the wine on the table in hopes of being poured some in a bowl," I giggled after mentioning the weird habit of humans with their pets, then proceeded to put my wine up. As stated before, it is a berry wine. Very hard to make but very tasty. It is also very alcoholic and is blue instead of the typical white or red, and the smell of the wine is very strong. I sat it right in the middle of the table with a smile on my maw. A waitress came to us, shaking (definitely afraid), and asked us the typical question," What is it we can serve you today?" She was shaking, though the sign outside said they couldn't say no to anybody without a proper reason. I smiled and looked at Rida, expecting a request. "We'd like two wine glasses and two slices of supreme pizza. Actually, get us one bowl and one wine glass. I'm not sure how opposable my current date's paws are," She smiled and looked at me with consideration in her eyes. I nodded in agreement and the waitress then left. "So, can you explain to me why you humans keep quadrapedic canines and felines in your homes? And why do you feed them food that looks like pellets straight out of a bird's shitter?" I asked with a smile, then giggled when she laughed," Well we supply them with very long lifespans for small nuzzles and licks which can be sometimes bad smelling. We get serotonin and we believe they do too." I smiled after that and nodded, then spoke to confirm her statement," You aren't wrong, at least in my case. I get extremely happy whenever pet and cuddled, and I get even happier when the cuddles and hugs get intense." She raised an eyebrow and I immediately blushed, realising what I said. I put my muzzle into my paws, my blush displaying through my fur. "Exactly what do you mean by intense?" She giggled and booped me, causing me to giggle again. "I meant as if you were to snuggle your face onto my neck while cuddling me or something!" I'd never been this embarrassed before. As a supposed primordial being, I am quite stupid. I suppose I do not always think of what I do before I do them. She giggled and ruffled my head fur, making it look like I woke up a few seconds ago. I voiced my displeasure with that by simply sticking my tongue out at her. She did the same and we giggled. We got our pizza and glasses/bowls and poured ourselves the fanciest wine in the universe while eating the dirtiest food on Earth. I attempted to eat it normally but without opposable thumbs, it was very hard. She noticed this and asked me a cute question, " Would you like me to feed you sugarplum?" I blushed at this question but nodded. I'm incapable of eating most meals for bipedals. "Open your maw when I bring it close, otherwise I'll mess up your beautiful fur." Once again, I blushed. The thought of being fed was so intoxicating. It might've unlocked a new fetish/kink in me? It was a feeling I'd never felt before. She brought the pizza to my maw and slowly fed me. I took about three bites and swallowed the whole thing with a smile on my maw. I quickly nuzzled her face after, then gasped when she nuzzled back. Why did she nuzzle me back? I looked at her and gave her a tiny lick on the face, then she licked my nose! What is this human? "I wish I could feed you your food, I'm sorry that I can't. I would shapeshift to do so but I only do that when at home," I felt sorry and wanted to do the same for her but I simply wasn't comfortable enough. "It's okay, I won't try to push you to do anything. Any jokes I say are strictly just that… jokes. Don't ever think to do something if it makes you uncomfortable," She gave me a pat on the head and began eating. For her size, she ate rather fast. I wasn't aware humans ate their food with the same ferocity as other animals. Once done, she wiped her face with a napkin and poured some wine for both of us. My bowl wasn't fancy, why would it be, though I enjoyed being put in my place for a bit. We both took a sip/lap of the wine and she immediately began coughing," Motherfucker is that strong! God damn, I expected it to be strong but still. That's basically better-tasting moonshine." I giggled and apologised," Sorry about that. I thought I warned you. It's very strong due to the berries in it." She nodded and spoke again, " Well you did warn me but I kinda forgot. Do you drink this often?" I also nodded," Of course, at least once a day. It's a delicacy in the heavens and we all enjoy it. It's like mead for the Vikings. Also, the Norse gods are fun to play with on party nights. We don't always watch over you mortal." I giggled and lapped a little more up, and she did the same. I heard a ding from her pocket and she quickly pulled out a communications device. " Fuck, I gotta go. My daughter just got in a fight. How could I contact you for another one?" I smirked at the question, "One, I hope your daughter fought valiantly. Two, all you have to do is cross your legs and pray to me. As a god, I will always hear them. Farewell, my dear and have a good night." She stood up and smiled, then gave me a kiss on the head," Good girl." She ran out and went to her daughter's school, and I returned to the heavens. After briefing Hecate, she was disappointed but understanding of what I did. She knew I had to do it for them as there's no point in protecting people if you cannot interfere politically. I won't change politics, but I will help them heal. I spoke to the Trio and they all agreed to assist in it too, for some of my ancient berry wine. I got a secret stash of thousands of bottles that are millennia old. I plan to continue my story, though only if you request it. You new gods must learn from what we do and be able to understand when we make mistakes. Shinto has the right idea of their gods, imperfect but wise. You must be imperfect and wise. The first will be easy. The latter? You'll need patience. Please have a wonderful day everyone, sayonara.
