The microbot as a joker

“Something really strange happened after our last session.”

“Such as?” Moira kept her reply short, to give Pilar time to continue.

“Well it was the infonet that saved my sanity.” said Pilar. “I found examples of
devout people who developed the marks of their gods or prophets on their body,
then persons who have had such self loathing they had damaged or surgically
altered their body in grotesque ways.”
“It was only then I figured out what had happened.”

Moira was completely lost at this point, she couldn't help but notice that Pilar's
trembling voice, and that she obviously was pushing for something - could she
have had a religious episode?

“This phenomenon turned up again in our modern era,” continued Pilar:
“There's been several cases where persons have experienced oddities when the
subconscious repeatedly have given orders to the micro-machines in the body to
perform various changes.”

Moira was completely befuddled about this subject so she simply added:
“Feel free to go on.”

Pilar had half expected some kind of disparaging remark, let out a breath of relief
and continued:
“This happened also to me. I discovered whipmarks on my body that looked exactly
like the ones that you had caused on my body in the virtual dungeon.”
Pilar reached the point to provide the explanation and conclusion, she cleared her
throat to steady her voice and said:
“So it's not just the conscious part of me, that I wish for this on a whim.”
“But it's also my subconscious who wish for this so much, that it have affected the
machinery in
my body to create exactly the same marks that you done to me in the
simulation.”

“Oh I see.” Said Moira.

“So you intend to give up the immersive sessions and find a dominant partner on
your world?”

Pilar started to cry silently, Moira knew her too well, she had considered to break up.
“No! Yes..... I don't know.” Pilar's voice trailed off, she focused to find her composure
before
she continued;
“Last time we joked on various ways on how we could find a way to meet. This is no
longer a
matter to discuss the possibility of. I mean not just a game I need to make
this real!”

“Would you consider it?”

“I certainly would.” Replied Moira and added; “But I cannot imagine how that would
be possible.”

“Oh there might be something, lets look into the matter when we correspond in text
messages
later please. Lets go back to the story in the dungeon and you do your worst.
Right now I need a
whipping for being such a fuss.” said Pilar.

“You're always up for a good trashing, are you not?” Moira asked with a cheerful tone.

“Yes I am, even though I had to think about things a bit. Your actual physical form matter
less, it
is the soulmate I have met in the simulation and I experience that is the real you!”

“I am pleased you came to that conclusion, also I enjoy to feel an actual body in our
simulation.
You should know how much I miss eating and even breathing, and that's what
I do when you're
down in the dungeon. It is in fact very regular and ordinary things I
pleasure myself with.”

“And here I thought you were masturbating all the time.” Said Pilar teasingly.

“Oh I wish I could, but as you must have noted in our simulations, I keep away from most
sexual
activities. And when I do, it’s mostly to humiliate you or to demonstrate that I am in
charge.”

“Yes I wondered a bit about that actually, you always felt a bit distant.” Said Pilar
“So would you
not like to walk, breathe and eat for real again?”

“It would be wonderful to have a human body and to find someone who liked to be
dominated.
But it is of course completely impossible.”

“Actually...” said Pilar. “....it might not be.”

Moira laughed, and it was the first time Pilar had heard that outside of their mutual
simulation.

“Your suggestion is that I would be going trough the quantum black hole in person,
yeah I’ll
come out in a fantastic shape - as Moira paste.”

“It would be quark paste rather,” replied Pilar and continued: “No, my idea is to send
a copy of
your mind, memory and personality trough the gate. By the same means I
think you should be
able to merge and synchronise your personal experience with an
electronic clone.”

“So I would be able to jump into one of those telepresence robots you got and whip
you in
real-time?” Moira could not stop herself from sounding sarcastic.

“It's my suggestion that we try that at first, but I got an even better idea, though one
that
might be both complicated and expensive.” Replied Pilar.

“I did not wish to promise too much yet, but your reaction here and now had me
decide to
spill the beans. I propose that you would get a living breathing body here.”

Pilar have had her proposal ready and checked when she logged on, but had not
intended to
present it to Moira at this point. But the way she conservation had turned
out, she wished to
prove her dedication to Moira so she sent the material over while
they were talking.

Everything seemed to be possible, also the transfer of the enormous amount of
information
needed to send and download a complete mind had turned out to be
costly yet affordable,
the expenses to download Moira's personality into a ready-made
clone would however
stretch Pilar's finances to the limit.

So she explained how it could be done, that the implants they utilised in their
simulations
would be reverse engineered to read the contents of the mind instead of
feeding it with
impressions and that she would offer herself as a slave if Moira would
accept the offer.

“I am flattered, and amazed. And you say it could be done in a safe way? I have noted
that your
sun got quite some hiccups now and then. There might be interruptions to
the transmission!”

“We can do this safely since you would let your consciousness remain behind there
until the
very last moment and we have double checked the upload. One full copy
could also be stored in
electronic or biocomputers. Yet there is a bit of an aleatory
outcome in how your mind will
settle in the new body. So I agree we will have to do
many tests and checks to make certain we
got everything worked out.”

Moira's avatar nodded, and then asked:
“But the first step would be to use one android avatar, do you own one such already?”

“No I don't.” Admitted Pilar. “Those are quite expensive, but renting one is no problem.
And I
have to admit, that I wish to feel what it is like, I am uncertain on how I will react
when it's real.”

“Perhaps I will not live up to your expectations!”

“Oh I am certain you will! I just start soft and then move up to break you completely.”

Pilar shivered from the thought, then smiled and said: “That is exactly what I hope for.”
