Family Ties

Twelve weeks later, Chloe smiled at her phone; the latest transfers from the businesses had just come in, and she was very pleased. David opened the Bentley's door and helped her out. He no longer ran his security business; Chloe had forced him to sell it to Sheila Banks, with ten percent paid to Chloe. Though she did allow him to consult from time to time.

They entered the office block in Chatham, where her family's charitable offices occupied the top floor. Chloe and David walked arm in arm through the floor, nodding and saying hi to staff as they passed by. They entered the main office without knocking, and the two occupants looked up. As soon as the door closed behind Chloe and David, Miriam and Simon shot out of their chairs and knelt, their heads touching the floor and their arms behind their backs. Both wore the latest electronic chastity devices under their clothes, sleek bands of polished black steel with a small, glowing blue light at the base, a stark contrast against their skin. They shuffled forward on their knees and reverently kissed the tips of Chloe's and David's shoes.

"Up," Chloe commanded, her voice echoing slightly in the quiet office. "Run me the numbers."

Miriam and Simon rose to their knees, then to their feet, moving to their terminals with practiced, deferential motions. They pulled up the financial spreadsheets, the figures glowing on the screens. As they did, Chloe spoke again, her voice dropping to a low, authoritative tone. 

"Cane."

Simon flinched almost imperceptibly. He walked to a tall, narrow cupboard in the corner of the office, opened it, and retrieved a thin, wicked-looking rattan cane. He presented it to Chloe with both hands, eyes downcast, then turned and walked toward a small adjoining antechamber.

"In the room," Chloe commanded.

Both Miriam and Simon stepped into the anteroom. It was spartan, with only two simple, padded leather stools in the center. Without a word, they stripped, folding their clothes neatly on a small shelf. They stood for a moment in their underwear, the electronic devices gleaming under the recessed lighting, before bending over the stool, side by side, presenting their backs to their Mistress. Chloe followed them in, the cane swishing lightly through the air. She delivered their weekly fifteen strokes each with practiced precision, the sharp cracks echoing off the walls as they absorbed the punishment in silence, their bodies tensing but remaining in position.

When she was finished, she stepped back. "Caress each other," she ordered. "And kiss."

Hesitantly, Miriam and Simon straightened. They turned to face each other, their eyes briefly meeting in a shared moment of humiliation. They wrapped their arms around each other, their hands gliding over each other's backs and down to the waistbands of their underwear. Simon gently caressed Miriam's face before leaning in to kiss her, a chaste, closed-mouth press of lips that felt somehow more intimate than anything else. Chloe watched, a small smile on her lips, knowing full well that the intimate contact, combined with the denial enforced by their devices, would leave them intensely frustrated.

"Back to work," she said abruptly. "I've just transferred sums, distribute them wisely."

"Yes, Miss Chloe," came the combined reply, their voices slightly breathless.

Chloe looked at her phone again. The profits from the businesses had just been transferred to the charity office. She held out her hand, and David took it. They walked arm in arm back through the office, leaving her mother and brother to dress and get back to work.
