Chapter 15 of 19
A leash clicked onto the ring on his collar, a sharp, metallic sound that jolted him. He followed her up the steps of the converted cellar, his movements clumsy, his eyes fixed on the back of the woman's legs. He emerged into what had once been the pub's public bar, now a cozy, opulent living space filled with expensive plush furniture and gleaming accessories. Rosie was sitting in a large wingback chair, her leather-clad legs crossed, a vision of casual power. Kneeling at her feet, Alistair was polishing her boots with a soft cloth. He was also naked, but for a leather collar and metal cock cage identical to Thomas's. The scene was a tableau of absolute hierarchy.
Rosie welcomed Thomas to his new life. "This is your home now, Tommy," she said, her voice a silken caress. "You are a slave, here to serve Beatrice and me. Nothing more." He tried to speak, to ask why, but no words came, only a choked, guttural sound. Rosie simply smiled. "Speech is forbidden," she said, her voice dropping to a whisper. "You will not speak unless Beatrice or I give you permission. And you will rarely be given permission."
Over the next few minutes, Rosie prompted his memory, reminding him who he was, and how she had all but destroyed him and his family. She wanted to see more than the vacant look in his eyes; she wanted to see a hatred, a hatred that would burn from within, but one he could never act on. She watched, fascinated, as his eyes cleared and sweat formed on his brow. The final switch came as traitorous wife, Beatrice, leaned in and kissed Rosie before looking down on him with so much contempt. He remembered it all.
Rosie explained that he was now the lowest member of their little household, the bottom of the pile, beneath even Alistair. His food would be bland kibble from a bowl on the floor. His bathroom was a drain in the corner of the cellar. Any infraction—slow obedience, a look in the eye, an unauthorized sound—met with a caning. Over the next few weeks, they taught him his place with a brutal efficiency. Beatrice, in particular, discovered a vicious streak she never knew she possessed, taking a dark delight in administering his daily beatings. His living quarters were the cage, his world a cycle of service, pain, and confinement. They watched him, sometimes for entertainment, sometimes for education, as they allowed Alistair fuck him.
Alistair, in turn, had found a side of himself he had never known; he was attracted to men, especially men he had complete control over, and he took Thomas with a rough, impersonal efficiency that was more assertion than pleasure.
Rosie systematically erased him from the world. She removed him from the books at the office, telling the board he had "decided it was for the best for the business that he left." She forged a resignation letter and a hastily written note about the scandal's pressures. One day, as Thomas was strapped face-down over a whipping bench, his ass raised for the cane, Rosie took great delight in telling him the news. "Your father is dead, Tommy," she said, her voice light. "They found him floating in the river this morning. They think it was suicide."
Thomas's body convulsed, a choked sob escaping his throat, a sound of pure, unadulterated agony that earned him ten extra strokes. Two weeks later, Beatrice announced that his mother had been institutionalized after a complete mental breakdown, found wandering the streets, rambling incoherently about smoke and punishment.
Six months later, Rosie's solicitor presented Thomas with a pile of forms to sign. He had no will to fight, his mind a broken thing that obeyed. What was left of his family's fortune- the house, the investments, the last remnants of the Aldridge legacy- was now handed over to Beatrice.
Rosie, having achieved her true goal, pulled away from Aldridge Shipping Company. She had no real interest in it, but the board, desperate for her guidance, followed her suggestion to rebrand, removing the Aldridge name altogether and erasing it from their own history.
A year after everything settled, Rosie and Beatrice lay in their soft, king-sized bed, the scent of their lovemaking still in the air. Thomas was in his cage in the cellar, and Alistair was chained at the end of the bed by his ankle, in case either of them needed to use him as a toilet at night. Rosie told Beatrice she thought her time in Kent had come to an end. "I have achieved all I set out to do," she said softly. "And I miss Spain." Beatrice, her head on Rosie's chest, felt a tear well in her eye, thinking Rosie would leave her behind.
"But I would be lonely," she whispered.
Rosie hugged her tightly, a rare, genuine gesture of affection. "I know," she said, her voice warm. "That's why I'm asking if you'd like to join me. It's time for a new adventure. Together." Beatrice looked up, her eyes shining with adoration and relief. She had found her new home.
