Finally, she pushed the cauterised end back inside the wound, completing the procedure with clinical efficiency.

Sarah took some medical pliers from a drawer and taking the remaining testicle, she started to squeeze. Even with the painkillers I could feel deep burning pain, more so than earlier. Perhaps the anaesthetic was wearing off.

The testicle did indeed split open, with a small amount of blood but not in the fashion she expected. She pulled the remainder away, cut the cord and cauterised with the iron.

She said she would cook it later.

They both clapped and congratulated themselves, with the castration exercise complete.
