Chapter 8 of 18
Steve tried to force himself asleep. He wasn’t after rest, but an end—a place where nothing reached him. The dark had robbed him of sight and given him something worse: first noise and sounds, then words, then the certainty the voices were his wife’s and the man’s. To keep listening was to go insane. He buried his face in the thin mattress and begged sleep to arrive like a door he could close.
Beyond the bars, Kaylah felt every touch and understood almost none of it. Sensations came with no distance—close, constant, more than she could hold. Now and then a flicker of understanding broke through, brief as a match in a draft. Then the high rose again, a white light that swept thought aside and pinned her under a pleasure that was not hers. She would surface, catch one second of the truth, and watch it go under.
Had Steve been able to see, this is all he would have seen: a thin bunk in the dark. His wife’s body lying on it, there and not there. Another body over hers, working through the hours Torres had given him. Her face turning toward awareness, then turning away.
Steve did not see it.
While her husband drifted in tormented sleep, Kaylah’s body responded to the man inside her with a rhythm both foreign and inevitable. Each thrust drew a choked gasp from her lips, sounds that hung in the damp air like unanswered prayers.
Reggie no longer counted how many times her pussy convulsed around him—only that this one was stronger.
For Kaylah, something new bloomed in the fog of her awareness: a warmth spreading through her limbs, an instinct to hold on. It wasn’t desire as she understood it; it was the body’s raw plea for anchor.
In a flicker of clarity, she knew. The muscles under her grasping fingers were not her husband’s. The truth surfaced—sharp, brief—then receded beneath the chemical tide. Her hands did not pull away. They clung to the only solid thing in the spinning dark.
The knowing came and went. What stayed was the hunger, the drug having sweetened it into something that looked like comfort. Her hands found him, though sober they would not have chosen him.
There was no clock, no window. The stone walls gave nothing back. Time became shadow, marked only by ragged breathing and moans as they climbed toward another shared climax. The cell air sat thick, a stew of sex and sweat.
In prison Reggie had saved himself—passed up quick relief to keep his appetite intact. Over a year of need stored like water behind a dam. Kaylah Jordan was his windfall. Their slick bodies twisted together. “Gon’ cum ‘gain, baby,” he growled.
“Nnn... n-nooo... no m’re... not insid’ me…”
“What difference do it make now? Came in your sweet little pussy twice already. Don't you remember? I'll pull out this time, but you gotta be good—play with my cock like I showed you.”
“Uuuggghhh... p-p’leeez... I’ll be g’ood... J-jus’ p’uuull o-out...”
Reggie drove deep one last time, planting himself as if claiming ground. Then he drew out and straddled her, his thick shaft wet on her belly. The cell stank of what they had done.
Her fingers reached through the bars. “Schteeve?”
Steve heard his name and his hand closed around hers.
“Who you be talkin’ to, baby? He not your husband no more. You my girlfriend now.” Reggie pulled her hand away from the bars and pressed it against himself. “Hold this instead.”
In the dark, Kaylah’s fingers that had been pulled from Steve's closed on Reggie's penis instead—warm, slick, throbbing. She gripped it, felt veins pulse under her palm. His semen erupted across her stomach and breasts. “Ohhh... ahhh... 'iet goin' all o’v-ver m-me... M’doin’ wha’ you a’sked...”
““I know, baby. Been saving up for over a year. I’m so fucking full for you it hurts. Now rub your clit with me,” he rasped, guiding her hand.
Disgust could have saved her, if she had been able to feel it.
She couldn’t. The drugs had taken even that—the body’s last clean refusal—and left counterfeit calm in its place. She would have wanted the revulsion. She knew that much in flashes. Wanting it was not the same as having it.
What remained was obedience without consent.
Her fingers had found his shaft without her asking. Reggie guided her, moving what she hesitated to move on her own over herself, and her hips arched up—a reflex she did not choose. In the shadows their rhythms locked.
Kaylah rose with the drug to a peak she would have despised if despising had been left to her. It was not. The ecstasy came like a trespasser wearing her voice.
Steve heard only the change: not struggle, but something worse—his wife being led through an act she could neither claim nor refuse.
Straddled by this monster, Kaylah's horror tried to rise and failed. It moved under the high like something buried in floodwater, clawing toward air. It never broke through.
So she went on without disgust or terror to protect her. The worst was already happening, and she could not even fully feel that it was worst.
She milked Reggie's cock by instinct. His breath rasped heavy as she drained him.
“A-ar y-yoo d-don’?”
“Yeah, baby. You did good.”
She let go of him. Exhaustion and the unwanted high came down together like a wave. It did not wash anything clean. It only flattened what remained.
“C-cannn w-weee sss’t’p? M’ t-tiiired...”
“Okay, baby. Nap while I get hard again.”
“N-nn-no... d-donnn’t g-get h’rd gan…”
The clear moments kept getting longer.
Not all at once. The drugs drained out slow. The high still rolled back—shorter now, crueler about when. Kaylah was not allowed to stay inside herself. Trapped between wakefulness and the drug’s false peace. Sleep wouldn’t come. “P-please… no m-more… l-let me… rest…”
Then sleep came at last, sudden and deep. It took her plea with it.
