Chapter 7
Hampshire 10/9/2012 8:40 a.m
Truth
I re-entered the barn/warehouse and took my bags of “surprises” to the re-education room and laid them on a table near the wall. I couldn’t wait to to see the mutt break down when it realizes it’s not going home at all and that any attempt to get away was futile. It was mines now and I’m not letting it go.
Truth II
I’m still in these stupid chains and still hungry, that egg mash up left little to be desired. Now I’m just waiting for the man to show back up so I can be let go…
False
The mutt must be lost in its thoughts because it barely notices me entering. I watch it for a few minutes, it’s eyes are closed and he’s against the wall trying to sleep I supposed.
I yell “wake up” it jolts up, face confused I love the way his eyes pop open and his mouth slightly opens bit
"So Moore said he’s 10 minutes away, so I’m going to move to another room.”
For the first time since I last stalked him, I see him smile “Oh thank you Sir, I swear you won’t hear from me again or him. And I do apologize and no hard feelings.”
"Yeah, I’m gonna blindfold you and have you put your hand on my shoulder while you follow me.”
The mutt nods in agreement as I place the blindfold around its eyes. I lead him out of the room and out the corridor and I take him around the warehouse to give the impression we are far away from his original “home” and then I lead him back.
Once inside the re-education room I once again sit him down on the floor and chain him to the wall. “So Moore…here’s your friend.”
He starts sobbing and cursing a bit “You fuck, how could you do this…a mate friend wouldn’t.
I then take off the blindfold…
FUCK
The mutt’s confused face arouses me cause I know what’s gonna happen next. He stutters a bit “Where……Moore…I…I…”
“I don’t know, you tell me. I’ve never met him or heard his name till you mentioned him back in the van.”
“But you said you talked to him?”
“For a Phd student in physics you should know not to believe what you see until you have evidence.’
He sits up straight and gives a more commanding presence, a sure tell sign to me that he knows his world might be coming to a halt. “I’m not here to debate on what to believe, I just want my friend here to collect me and I can put this ordeal to end.”
I walk up and stand over him, his green eyes getting watery. I squat down and get to his level.
“I don’t know Moore but I’m sure he is one of your friends I saw you hang out with frequently at the pub, clubs, you flat, your girlfriend’s flat, school etc. Yes, Zac…don’t look so surprised for the past six months since I saw you at the music festival, I have stalked you and…”
“No…I would’ve seen you…you’re lying…you’re fucking lying..”
“You did probably see me but I wore various wigs and clothing depending on what day it was. But your life is so mundane and predictable, I cut down my stalking because I knew if I returned to London after a week or two you’d still living out your same routine. School, lab, girlfriend, family, dining out, friends, trash routine.”
By now the uncomfortableness I didn’t see on the 8th was creeping in. He entire demeanor was now becoming scared and soon fight and flight would take over and my breaking of it would begin.
Crap
I…I..I..no…no..no this is happening…it’s still apart of the prank..Moore will show up and I’ll be back home…I’ll be back with Angie…God..Angie..Mum..Dad..Bennie
I take short breathes as he is squatted down to my level explaining to me how “boring” my life is. I want to scream and knock him over but I also don’t want to upset the one person who holds the truth to me being here.
“Listen…I…I…I’m just a simple person, who stays out of trouble and doesn’t bother anyone…I just want to go home and would you please just tell me the truth about what’s going on?
He reaches over and rubs my cheek, I’m too stunned to move, “Well mutt, this is the truth I stalked you for six months and found out the weak points in your routine and the biggest weak point was that your flat doesn’t have CCTV around it and the parking lot was in a perfect spot near the dumpster. So I baited you and you fell for it, and had you just walked away after unloading the first paint drum, I would’ve left you alone for awhile before trying again.”
Mutt…this fucker…you sick perverted fuck you..
"I’m not a bloody mutt and you really fucked yourself up by….” I feel his pointer finger reach my lips, signaling me to be quiet followed by a shush and a low whispered, ‘It’s ok, mutt. I know this scary but I promise you the life I have in store be more rewarding and fulfilling.”
I finally snap… “Fuck you! You bastard! I’m ZAC! A person! And I swear my family will find me cameras or not. You’re a sick bloody bastard and whatever you think about my life and it needing to be better you can forget it, my life is great. And I refuse to be whatever you think I should be.”
The man stands up with a slight smile, “Awe, the speeches you mutts give when in denial never gets old.” He then heads behind the same type of plastic that was in the other room, except it only covers half of the room. The room itself reminds me of a nightclub almost with purple wall lighting that surrounds the top of the wall and the plastic covering it gives it a creepiness vibe. The plastic wall covering also hides what appears to be equipment that’s placed against the wall…But I lose focus because I see the man approaching from behind the plastic with two leather straps attached to a huge ball. I try and stand but the leash prevents and I turn my face whichever way to avoid whatever that is in his hands.
God…where does that go…if its my mouth..it won’t fit…please no
Be good
He’s trying to stand up to avoid my massive black ball gag. But the leash only allows for him to get on his knees, any higher and he’ll choke. His eyes widen his head moves frantically side to side as I stand back in from of him, “Well my dear mutt, it looks like it’s time for you to start lesson number one; your human voice doesn’t matter anymore to me or any of my associates who will be coming by eventually.
"No! I'm a person! I refuse..I refuse..you..grrrgggg…mmmmmppphhing…mmmpphhh!” The ball slips in like knife in butter and I walk behind him to pull it further in and secure it. Once secured, I walk back to my table and grab a mini padlock and placed it where the buckle is.
I stand in admiration of my work. It’s face red with anger and eyes fearful and bulging a bit. I don’t even care how he thrashes about trying to get the leash chain to break. “You get comfortable and stop using your energy on those chains. Because tonight I’m giving you a head shave to start our journey together as owner and dog.” That works it up even more, but I focus on securing its posture collar next.
It’s thick and has shock sensors inside of it that I can control via remote or my mobile. The highest level is 10 with 5 being the setting for it as of now, with the goal being, as its training progress the higher the number and also the sensors monitor it’s heart rate/pulse which gets sent to my phone every so hours.
It cuts its eyes at me and I turn the level down to a 3 and show it my remote. “You’ve got 2 minutes to get on your knees and take this collar.” It does get on its knees, its eyes defiant as I take off the leash collar and replace it with the posture one. “ This isn’t your personal collar just one that’ll be used for training and when I feel like your transformation to a dog is complete then you’ll get your permanent steel one.” It looks me in the eyes and tries to shake its head no, but the collar prevents, it then gets out of my grip once it realized its collar wasn’t attached to anything. I stand and watch it “go” just to see how far it would get and the most it got was behind the plastic and to the keypad door.
I then shocked it for the first time as it reached the door and it immediately started screaming louder than it ever had with its gag and then it dropped to the floor. It’s body contorting in all directions and its nose slightly bleeding Nose bleed is a first I walked over to it, “That’s what happens to disobedient mutts.”
Concern III
London 10/9/2012
12 pm
Angie could hardly eat lunch, she had spent all day morning with Zac’s family as the Met police came to take a missing persons report and report back on their findings at his flat. So far from the residents they interviewed no one reported hearing anything unusual the night Zac went missing. There was also nothing captured on CCTV to their knowledge but the police still tried to seem hopeful. But Angie and Zac’s family could read between the lines, the police had nothing to go on. Now they where left with setting up a “Find Zac Poole” Facebook page and perhaps setting up a tip line.
I need Zac to come back safe, I love him and I need him as much he needs me..this can’t be the end for us
Bennie sat inside his car outside his townhouse, where he resided with his two kids and wife. He and his wife had agreed not to tell their boys about their uncle being missing until they could no longer avoid not to doing so.
As he sat in his car, he felt racked with guilt for not being their for his baby brother. If I had visited him more often or started going to the gym with him then I could’ve been there that night and he’d still be here. He banged his fist on the steering wheel and sobbed. I’m sorry Zac…I failed you
