Chapter 1

Jonathan Clements adjusted his silk tie as he leaned over the desk of his personal assistant, Amelia. Her perfume, a subtle blend of jasmine and sandalwood, filled his nostrils as he caught a glimpse of the delicate lace trim on her bra beneath her crisp white blouse.

"I'll be out of the office all afternoon, Amelia," he said, his voice smooth and authoritative. "Hold all my calls unless it's the Dubai contract. In that case, patch them through to my mobile."

"Of course, Mr. Clements," she replied, her eyes demurely lowered as she typed a note into her tablet. "Is there anything else you require before you leave?"

Jonathan hesitated, his gaze lingering on the soft swell of her breasts. "No, that will be all. I should be back by five."

He straightened his suit jacket and strode out of the office, his polished shoes clicking against the marble floor of the corporate headquarters. In the lift down, he checked his reflection in the mirrored walls—expensive suit, perfectly coiffed hair, the picture of success. But his eyes told a different story, one of need and submission that no one in his business world could ever imagine.

The summer heat hit him as he stepped outside, Rochester's historic cathedral spire rising against the blue sky. He slid into the driver's seat of his sleek Jaguar, the leather cool against his back. The engine purred to life with a satisfying rumble as he navigated through the narrow streets of the Medway towns, heading towards Chatham.

Twenty minutes later, he turned onto a grimy back street, the Jaguar's pristine appearance an odd contrast to the peeling paint and overflowing bins that lined the pavement. He pulled into a small gravel car park behind a two-story building, the stones crunching beneath his tires. The ground-floor windows were grimy, but through them he could see rows of washing machines and dryers—the front was clearly a launderette on Luton Road.

Jonathan killed the engine and sat for a moment, his heart already beginning to race. He checked his appearance once more in the rearview mirror before getting out of the car, his expensive shoes now scuffing through the gravel. He approached a plain metal door at the back of the building and knocked twice, then three times, as instructed.

He heard the buzz, and he pushed it open with a creak, revealing a dimly lit corridor that smelled of damp, cigarette smoke, and something else—something that made his stomach clench with anticipation and fear.

He walked down the narrow hallway, past several closed doors, until he reached the last one. He knocked again, this time more timidly.

"Enter," a woman's voice called out, roughened by years of smoking.

Jonathan pushed open the door and stepped inside. The room was small and cluttered, dominated by an old armchair, a small table with a tea set, and hooks on the wall holding various implements of restraint. And there she was—Mildred Smith, sitting in the armchair as though she were a queen on her throne. Johnathan could hear the vibrations from the washers and dryers from the launderette above them.

The property was built on a hill; the floor they now stood on was technically the basement, even though it had its own entrance to the car park. The floor upstair opens out onto the busy Luton Road. It was a busy launderette

At fifty-six, Mildred was a formidable presence. She wore a blue nylon housecoat. Her hair was hidden beneath a 1940s-style turban, and a Woodbine cigarette dangled from her painted red lips, leaving a distinctive pattern around the filter. Her eyes, sharp and calculating, missed nothing as they raked over Jonathan's expensive suit.

"Strip," she commanded, taking a drag from her cigarette and exhaling a plume of smoke toward the ceiling.

Jonathan didn't hesitate. His fingers, usually steady when signing million-pound contracts, fumbled with the buttons of his shirt. He folded each piece of clothing meticulously, placing them on a dusty chair in the corner of the room. Soon he stood naked, his body pale and soft compared to Mildred's weathered appearance, his cock and balls confined in a small steel cage that glinted in the dim light.

"The collar," Mildred said, gesturing with her cigarette toward the corner of the room where a steel collar hung from a heavy chain attached to the wall.

Jonathan walked to the corner, his bare feet cold on the worn linoleum floor. He took the heavy collar, its surface cold and unforgiving against his hands. As he lifted it to his neck, he could hear Mildred sipping her tea, leaving a bright red lipstick stain on the rim of her mug.

He clicked the lock shut, the sound echoing in the small room. The collar was tight enough to be a constant reminder of its presence, the chain hanging down his back like a tail.

Mildred stood and approached him, her housecoat rustling with each step. She was shorter than him, but in that room, she towered over him in every way that mattered. Without warning, she slapped his face hard, the crack echoing off the walls.

"Why have you come to visit me today, Jonathan?" she asked, her voice dangerously soft.

His cheek stinging, Jonathan dropped to his knees, the chain clinking against the floor. "Please, Mildred," he begged, his voice trembling. "It's been three weeks. I need you to unlock the cage. I can't take it anymore."

Mildred laughed, a harsh, grating sound. "You can't take it? That's what they all say. But you keep coming back, don't you? You and all the other important men with their important jobs and their pathetic little secrets." She took another drag from her cigarette. "Why should I unlock you? What have you done to deserve it?"

"I've been good," Jonathan pleaded, his eyes fixed on the worn carpet. "I've done everything you asked. I paid on time, I didn't touch myself, I—"

"Enough," Mildred interrupted, grinding out her cigarette in an overflowing ashtray. "We'll see if you've been good enough. But first..." She reached down and grabbed his chin, forcing him to look up at her. "Tell me how much you missed me."
