Chapter 11 of 23
The breaking of Toby was an art form, and Mildred was its master. It wasn't a single, shattering event but a slow, methodical corrosion, a relentless weathering away of his identity until only what she desired remained. The drugs were the solvent, the pain was the chisel. Each evening, she would lace his coffee with the same compliant cocktail, a pharmacological leash that kept his mind soft and malleable, his resistance dissolving into a placid fog. He was no longer her husband; he was a specimen in a cage, and she was the cold, curious scientist.
The pain was her language. She taught him to associate obedience with pleasure and defiance with agony. When he returned home from work at a minute past six, the shock would come, a sharp, searing jolt that brought him to his knees. But if he was early, if he immediately stripped and knelt by the door with his head bowed, he would be rewarded. The reward was never freedom. It was the absence of pain, a mercy so profound it felt like the greatest joy in the world. Sometimes, she would use her phone to make the cage vibrate, a humming torment that would drive him to the brink of insanity, until he was weeping and begging her to stop, promising anything.
His masculinity, his pride, was the primary target. She would make him scrub the floors with a toothbrush, then praise him for doing a "good boy's job." She would serve him his dinner in a dog bowl on the floor, and he would eat it without question, his eyes fixed on her for any sign of approval. She was his sun, his moon, his entire universe. His mind, unhinged by the chemicals and rewired by the pain, slowly broke. The scaffolder, the rugged lover, the defiant man, all dissolved and washed away. In his place was a devoted, worshipful pet, whose every thought, every breath, was for her, his Goddess. He lived for the click of her heels, the sound of her voice, the fleeting touch of her hand on his head.
Jane's breaking was a different, more intimate process. It was a slow, humiliating descent into objecthood. At first, she resisted, her spirit toughened by a life of independence. But Mildred was tireless. The punishments were constant and creative. A day spent chained to the toilet. A night with a crop welting for every time she made eye contact. A diet of only bread and water for a week. The message was relentless and clear: resistance was pointless and painful. Compliance was the only path to survival.
Soon, Jane understood. The only way to avoid the searing line of the cane or the shocking bite of the collar was to be willing. To please Mildred as she wished. Mildred insisted on a complete transformation. Jane was to dress as slutty as possible at all times, even when alone. Micro-skirts, sheer tops, towering heels. Her makeup was to be thick and whorish, a permanent mask of invitation. She became a living doll, dressed for a party that never came.
Her true submission was sealed in the bedroom. Mildred would unlock Jane's chastity belt, the key a symbol of her absolute power. She would push Jane onto the bed, face down, and remove the belt entirely. Then, as Jane trembled on the edge of anticipation and fear, Mildred would take a jar of lube and her thick, black strap-on. She would fuck Jane up the arse, not gently, but with a hard, punishing rhythm that claimed not just her body but her soul. Jane learned to take it, to push back against it, her whimpers slowly turning into moans of a pleasure she didn't want but couldn't deny. Afterward, Mildred would shave Jane's pussy bare, the act a final, intimate act of ownership before locking the belt back into place. Jane was no longer Mildred's friend. She was her willing sex puppet, an instrument for her pleasure, broken and remade in her image.
