Chapter 9

The waiting was a delicious agony for Amelia. The ten thousand pounds had been transferred. The plan was threadbare and simple, a work of malicious elegance. They would wait until Jonathan's need became a desperation, until the cage he wore was a constant, maddening pressure. They would wait until he crawled back to Mildred, begging for release.

That day came on a bleak Thursday. Jonathan couldn't meet Amelia's eyes across the desk as he mumbled about an afternoon appointment, a familiar excuse that now held the thrill of a coming execution. "Hold my calls, Amelia," he said, his voice thin.

"Of course, Mr. Clements," she replied, her voice a model of professional calm as she tapped out a single, silent text to Mildred. He's on his way.

The drive to Chatham was a blur for Jonathan, his mind consumed by the weight between his legs. He parked the Jaguar in the familiar gravel car park, the sound of the stones a death knell. He knocked, the rhythm coded in his memory, his heart a frantic bird in his chest.

The basement room was as it always was: claustrophobic, stale with the ghosts of cigarette smoke and submission. Mildred sat in her throne, a Woodbine dangling from her lips, her eyes devoid of their usual spark. It was just business.

"The routine, Jonathan," she said, her voice flat.

He stripped, the routine a comfort in its familiarity. He folded his suit with meticulous care, a final act of his public self. He walked to the corner, the heavy collar cold against his skin, and clicked it shut. He turned, expecting the familiar slap, the humiliating question.

Instead, Mildred stood. "Hands," she commanded. She cuffed both his wrists behind his back, the metal biting into his skin. Then, from a drawer in her desk, she produced a leather hood. It was thick, featureless, smelling of chemical tanning and fear.

"What's this?" he asked, a tremor in his voice.

"Quiet."

She slipped the hood over his head. The world vanished, replaced by a suffocating, muffled silence and the scent of his own panicked breath. Claustrophobia coiled in his gut. He felt her fingers at the back of his neck, pulling the leather lace tight. The hood was pulled snugly against his face, compressing his features, sealing him in his own private darkness.

A final, resounding slap connected with the leather-clad side of his head, more disorienting than painful. He heard the clink of metal, then felt the slight tickle of the key being pinned to the crown of the hood. Then, the door clicked shut. He was alone, adrift in a sensory-deprived void.

Time stretched and warped into meaningless shapes. He had no idea how long he knelt there, his knees aching, his breath loud in his ears. Then, through the muffling leather, he heard footsteps. A different tread, lighter than Mildred's.

The key was removed from his hood with a sharp tug. Then the blessed click of the cage unlocking. A gentle hand, impossibly soft, cupped his balls. His cock, confused and overjoyed, grew instantly, straining into the space it had been denied for so long. He groaned, a raw, guttural sound. The hand began to move, slow and deliberate, stroking him with an expert touch. It had been so long. Too long. His hips bucked involuntarily, and with a choked sob, his release shot out of him, a spurting, unwanted relief.

Panting, he sagged in his bonds. The shock of an ice-cold cloth on his sensitive flesh made him cry out, his body jerking. The hand worked efficiently, cleaning him. Then, a new sensation. The ring around his balls was removed entirely, his skin free for a fleeting second. But before he could process it, a new ring, colder and tighter, was locked in place. His shaft was guided into a new cage, this one smaller, constricting, more vicious than the last. His panic began to bubble. This was never discussed. This wasn't the deal.

The leather lace at the back of his neck was loosened. Light and air rushed in as the hood was pulled away. And through his tearing eyes, the first thing he saw was the face he least expected, her perfume, a scent of jasmine and power, filling his senses.

"Amelia, what the..." he started to say, confusion warring with the immense sense of violation.

The slap was hard, fast, and utterly shocking. It rocked his head to the side, his cheek exploding with a heat that had nothing to do with Mildred. He stared at her, her beautiful face a mask of ice-cold rage.

"That's Miss Amelia to you, boy."
