Chapter 17 of 20
A change began to stir in the house, a subtle shift in the atmosphere that Eamon felt more than saw. Miriam started to spend more and more time away from the house. She would leave for work in the morning and often not return until late at night, her clothes smelling of a foreign cologne, a light in her eyes that Eamon hadn't seen before.
Elizabeth noticed, of course. She noticed everything. One evening, she cornered Miriam in the drawing room. "Where have you been, my dear?" she asked, her voice deceptively sweet. "Your duties here have been... neglected."
Miriam hesitated, a flicker of something Eamon had never seen in her before: uncertainty. "I've met a man, Mother," she confessed.
Elizabeth's face hardened. "A man?"
"His name is Jeremy. He's... an alpha in every sense of the word," Miriam said, a hint of defiance in her voice. "Strong, decisive. He takes what he wants."
"And what does he want with you, and when will I meet him?" Elizabeth asked, her voice dripping with scorn.
Miriam's shoulders slumped. "I don't know how he'll take to the... dynamics of the house. The way we live. I haven't told him."
But the truth, as it always did, eventually came out. Miriam, in a moment of weakness or perhaps a calculated risk, laid bare the family's secrets. She told Jeremy about their control, their dominance, their use of Eamon. She expected revulsion, perhaps anger. Instead, she got laughter.
He threw his head back and laughed, a deep, booming sound that filled her small apartment. He grabbed her, his hand tangling in her hair, and pulled her head back, exposing her throat. "You think this is a problem for me?" he growled, his eyes glinting with a dangerous light. "You think I'm afraid of a little game? The only problem I see is that I wasn't invited to play sooner. I don't join games, Miriam. I run them."
That night, he brought out his own toys. He'd been waiting for the right moment, and Miriam had provided it. He took control of her with absolute authority. He made her kneel. He brought out a riding crop, not like the ones they used, but a thick, heavy one, designed for breaking horses. He laid into her, not with the calculated cruelty of Doris, but with a raw, brutal power that was meant to overwhelm, to shatter. He broke her will and ensured that, from that night on, she called him Master.
Eamon was in the kitchen, polishing silver, when the doorbell rang. He opened it to find Miriam standing there, but it wasn't the Miriam he knew. This Miriam was quiet, her eyes downcast, her posture subservient. Behind her stood a man, tall and broad-shouldered, with an air of absolute command.
"This is Jeremy," Miriam said, her voice soft, deferential. "My Master."
Elizabeth swept into the hall, her eyes taking in the scene, a slow, predatory smile spreading across her face. She and Jeremy sized each other up, two predators recognizing a peer. They hit it off wonderfully. Elizabeth saw in him a kindred spirit, a true dominant who understood the art of control. He saw in her the matriarch of a powerful, depraved dynasty.
That evening, Elizabeth allowed Jeremy a session with Miriam and Eamon while she watched from her armchair, a glass of brandy in her hand. Jeremy was a force of nature. He took them both, his strength and stamina inexhaustible. He bent them to his will, his body a tool of domination, his voice a lash. He fucked them both, not with passion, but with a brutal, efficient power that was designed to mark, to claim. Elizabeth watched, applauding his technique, his raw, animalistic strength. It was a merger of dynasties, a consolidation of power. And Eamon and Miriam were the spoils of war.
