Chapter 18

The engagement was a foregone conclusion. The wedding was to be a spectacle, a grand party at the house to celebrate the union of two powerful, dominant souls. The guest list was a who's who of their secret world: like-minded individuals who understood the true nature of power and submission. And Eamon, along with other submissive husbands and wives from the extended family, was to serve.

He wore a simple black leather loincloth, his body on display, his collar exchanged for a silver collar and padlock. He moved through the group with a tray of champagne, his head bowed, his eyes averted. He was a ghost, a piece of furniture, ignored by the guests who laughed and chatted as if he weren't there.

George and Domino were there, of course. George, immaculate in a tailored suit, his eyes missing nothing. Domino, a towering vision in black leather, her presence silencing conversations as she passed. They pulled Jeremy aside and led him into Elizabeth's study. The door closed, and for an hour, they were locked away. When they emerged, they laughed, smoked cigars, their faces relaxed, their deal done. It was obvious the talk had gone well; Jeremy had been accepted, brought into the fold.

The centerpiece of the evening was Miriam. She was the star of the show, and she shone with a dark, submissive brilliance. She wore a full, gleaming rubber bodysuit that hugged every curve, with gloves that encased her hands and high-heeled, platformed boots that made her tower over the other women. Her shiny hair fell down her back in a perfect cascade, and her face was professionally made up, her lips a deep, blood red. She looked not like a bride, but like a queen in bondage, a goddess of submission.

The guests gathered in the dining room. The lights dimmed, leaving only a single spotlight on the center of the room. Jeremy stood there, his face stern, commanding. Miriam walked towards him, her steps slow and deliberate in her high heels, and knelt before him, her head bowed.

Elizabeth made a formal announcement. "We are gathered here to celebrate the union of my daughter, Miriam, and her chosen Master, Jeremy. A union of strength, a union of wills. Miriam, do you accept this man as your absolute Master, to serve, to obey, and to worship?"

"I do." Miriam's voice rang out, clear and steady.

Jeremy produced a wide black collar, made of embossed leather. In the center, in ornate gold lettering, was the word 'JEREMY'. He placed it around Miriam's throat and padlocked it with a decisive click. A wave of sound washed over the room, a mix of cheers and tears, a celebration of a love Eamon could never understand.

As the party swirled around them, Eamon stood in his corner, a silent witness to the union of his tormentors. He saw the joy on Miriam's face, the pride in Jeremy's eyes, the approval in Elizabeth's smile. And he understood, with a chilling certainty, that this was the end of an era. The family was growing. The circle was widening. And his place in it, at the very bottom, was more secure than ever.
