Chapter 4 of 24

Chloe

The novelty, like all things, began to curdle. In the weeks following Alistair's visit, Clara's performance was impeccable. She was a perfectly broken thing, a vessel for their whims, a canvas for their humiliations. She anticipated their needs, obeyed without hesitation, and accepted her punishments without a sound. For Eleanor, this was the problem. A masterpiece is admired, but a static masterpiece is a bore. The thrill was in the breaking, the slow, meticulous shattering of a will. Clara's will was now dust, and with its destruction, Eleanor's interest waned.

She watched Clara one afternoon meticulously clean the kitchen grout with a toothbrush, her movements precise and devoid of spirit. She was a beautiful, tragic ruin, but a ruin nonetheless. It was time for a new project.

Her gaze drifted towards the back garden, past the neat lawn she had made Clara maintain with scissors, to the neighboring house. The occupant was a woman named Chloe, a plump, solitary figure in her late twenties whom Clara had mentioned as a freelance bookkeeper working from home. Eleanor had seen her often, a shapeless form bundled in oversized cardigans, her face perpetually downturned. She was perfect. A blank canvas of self-doubt and loneliness, waiting for an artist.

"Get the hand shears," Eleanor commanded one bright Tuesday morning. "The edges of the lawn are uneven."

Clara scurried to obey, returning on her hands and knees with the small, sharp scissors. It was a task Eleanor had devised for its sheer demeaning pointlessness, a way to keep Clara occupied and subservient for hours. As Clara began to snip at the grass, her head bowed in concentration, Eleanor saw movement next door. Chloe was in her garden, attempting to prune a rose bush with a pair of blunt secateurs.

Eleanor sauntered to the low fence dividing the properties, the picture of casual elegance. "Having some trouble there, dear?" she called out, her voice warm and friendly.

Chloe looked up, startled, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson. "Oh! Yes, Mrs. Vance. These things are useless."

"Eleanor, please. And it's not the tool, it's the technique," Eleanor said, her tone implying a secret wisdom. "You need to be more... assertive. Cut back hard. It rewards a firm hand."

Chloe looked at Eleanor, her eyes wide with a mixture of admiration and intimidation. "I... I wouldn't want to kill it."

"Nonsense," Eleanor laughed. "Sometimes a hard pruning is the only way to make something truly flourish. I'm Eleanor, by the way. Mark's mother."

"Chloe. It's nice to properly meet you." Chloe's eyes flickered down to Clara, still snipping at the grass, and a flicker of confusion crossed her face.

"Don't mind her," Eleanor said with a dismissive wave. "Clara finds grounding tasks therapeutic. Helps with her anxiety." It was the first lie, the first seed planted.

The conversation flowed from there. Eleanor was a master of insertion, a subtle predator who could make her presence feel like a gift. Over the next week, she "accidentally" encountered Chloe at the local shop, then "just happened" to be walking past as Chloe returned from the post office. Each time, Eleanor would offer a little piece of herself—a clever observation, a compliment that was both flattering and slightly backhanded, a confiding whisper about the difficulties of being a strong woman in a weak world.

The seduction was a slow, gentle poison. She learned about Chloe's insecurities, her loneliness, and her feeling that her weight made her invisible to the world. Eleanor became her confidante, her mentor.

"You're not invisible, my dear," Eleanor told her one afternoon over coffee she had "just happened" to bring over. "You're... unappreciated. Men are fools. They can't see the magnificent potential beneath the surface. But I can."

The first touch was a hand on Chloe's shoulder, lingering just a moment too long. The first time she entered Chloe's house, it was to "help" with a stubborn computer issue, but she ended up rearranging the furniture, critiquing her decor, and establishing her physical dominance over the space. The first kiss was soft, questioning, and designed to draw out the desperate, needy affection Chloe had been starving for.

Chloe, starved for validation, fell completely. She was putty in Eleanor's hands, her dignity stripped away layer by layer, replaced by a desperate need to please the woman who finally "saw" her.

The introduction to her new form began when Eleanor brought over a large package. "A gift," she announced, her eyes gleaming. Inside was a collection of restrictive rubber clothing. Thick, black, and unforgiving.

"It will feel wonderful," Eleanor promised. "It will hold you, support you. It will show you as you truly are."

The first time Chloe put on the catsuit, she stood in front of her full-length mirror and burst into tears. The rubber didn't hide her fat; it accentuated it, pressing into her flesh and creating bulges and rolls that were exaggerated and obscene. She looked like a monstrous parody of a woman.

"Perfect," Eleanor breathed, her voice thick with desire. She laughed, a low, cruel sound. "Look at you. All that delicious softness, trapped and on display. You're magnificent."

Eleanor began to mould her. She would dress Chloe in the rubber, then spend hours applying makeup, turning her face into that of a cheap tart—heavy eyeliner, bright red blush, glistening lipstick. The contrast between the expensive, commanding rubber and the slutty makeup was deeply humiliating, and Chloe, conditioned to crave Eleanor's approval, learned to love it. She became Eleanor's willing toy, a plaything to be dressed and used.

The final stage of her initial training was her presentation to Mark. Eleanor dressed Chloe herself. She chose the tightest catsuit, the one that made her breasts and belly bulge most obscenely. She added a hood, a simple black piece that framed Chloe's made-up face, leaving her mouth and eyes exposed but anonymizing the rest of her. She looked like a fetish doll from a nightmare.

"Time to meet your new Master," Eleanor whispered, leading a trembling Chloe by the hand into the living room where Mark was waiting. Clara was there too, kneeling silently in her corner, a forgotten spectator.

Mark's eyes widened as he saw the new figure. A slow grin spread across his face. "Mum, you've outdone yourself."

Eleanor led Chloe to the center of the room. "Kneel," she commanded.

Chloe sank to her knees, her rubber-clad body creaking softly, her eyes fixed on the floor.

"Mark," Eleanor said, her voice filled with pride. "This is Chloe. She's your new toy. She's an addition to our stable. I do hope you'll enjoy her."

Mark walked around the kneeling woman, inspecting her like a horse at auction. He reached out and grabbed her chin, forcing her head up. He looked into her terrified, made-up eyes and laughed. "Oh, I think I will," he said. "I think I will, very much."

Eleanor stood back, her arm around her son's shoulder, watching as he began to inspect his new property. The old toy was forgotten, her broken spirit no longer a source of amusement. The new toy was fresh and full of fear, a new challenge to be met, a new will to be broken. The stable was growing.
