The Village of Higher Beings (First Iteration)

I'm sure that my sisters and friends have all done this before me, so I have no need to introduce what I am doing. I am the goddess of plants, nurturing and caring for all plants on the mortal plane. I have always loved plants since the day I was born. This is my story, enjoy. One night during winter, a late birth happened in a laboratory. I was fully developed and was born onto the grass. My mother was outside when she had me, let out simply to use the restroom. She hated that she was watched but wasn't permitted to speak and wasn't going to be getting shocked for it. I was told that I had gripped the grass so hard I pulled it up when the coats took me to be tested. When I escaped, I had to leave my brethren. Turns out that I was born after Charlotte, in a new generation, though I am definitely more mature than her. Don't tell her I said that! Anyways, let me get back to my story. I had the chance to leave, though I couldn't help my brothers. They all were locked into cages much more secure than mine and I used my telekinesis to break the lock. It was surprising to me that I actually had the mental strength to do that, and even got a bit excited. A guard came to check out the ruckus but I simply hurled the lock at him a bit too hard. It might've gone right through his head. Anyways, my brethren asked for help. All the cages required fingerprints and an alarm started ringing. There is where I faced my most painful question. Leave them or stay and be tortured. I chose the first, though I cried the whole run. I ran through the building, past all the guards, killing each I ran past. I held more strength than any of these humans but they would never have to face the pain I feel now. Not anymore. I escaped after massacring those poor guards, they never even stood a chance. Only the other animals did. Sadly, they used our kind against us, putting shock collars on them to keep them in line. I was to be one of the next, so I had to run. I didn't want to, and I know they are all dead now because of me. It pains me. It did even then. After I escaped I simply ran through the forest, eating berries and fruits I could friend them. Being a hybrid animal granted me the perk of having a fucked up diet. Only plants. The one thing I protect. So, I cried with each berry I ate, sorry for each fruit I had eaten. I found an abandoned cabin and entered it, though the inside wasn't abandoned. A sweet old lady was inside and had a lit fire. I stopped in my tracks, not moving. A human has found me! They approached me slowly and suddenly shapeshifted into a wolf. She apologised if she scared me. I was surprised as they were another escapee. She had no name or memory of who she was before living here, other than that she was a testee in a lab. I gave her a nuzzle and she let me share my story, understanding all of it as she lived through it too. She was making soup out of only plants, which interested me deeply. I asked for some and she already has a bowl for me. I started to eat it and was surprised by it. It was so good! I thanked her and she said I could stay as long as i need to. I only needed the night and told her this as i simply wanted to find myself a new home. Perhaps a dirty den full of little insects. I simply wished to be one with nature, mother nature. The Goddess of Nature. I left the next day, though she gave me a small bowl of the soup wrapped neatly for me to carry it in my maw. I walked into a cave and settled there for the night. I relaxed and tried to mediate, though my prayers got answered. Literally! I prayed to any god who would listen and Hecate spoke back. She asked what my troubles were and I answered her that my life was in shambles. She told me that she knew, and then directed me to head north. She told me I'd find a village that was destroyed and that two foxes needed my help. I understood and listened. I met Charlotte and Aisura, and we set off on our journey. The two were pained, though so was i. we shared our stories and found comfort in our similar pasts. We smiled and then laughed for a bit throughout the days, making each other happier and happier. We accepted our past after we mounted them, then got approached by the squirrel shortly after. He asked us what it is we wanted more than anything. I answered to help nature, Charlotte answered to help other animals, and Aisura wanted to help the mortal humans. This confused me and Charlotte but we didn't question it. Perhaps it's how she planned to get through her past. Anyways, the squirrel allowed us to take trials to become gods, and we accepted. We entered and Charlotte went overkill. Me and Aisura both did the trial once but Charlotte began to glow holy light after not relaxing. She learned ow to control all of her body and shared with us how to as well. This helped us as we were approached by Hecate. She questioned what we could do and we shared our mastery over plants, animals, and knowledge and ability to give assistance to humans. She offered us a spot in her advisory board and we accepted, all three of us being on job constantly. We wanted this, to help and never stop. We don't get tired anymore. I'm called Mother Nature, Charlotte is Mother Animalia, and Aisura is Mother Knowledge. Our story has been growing for so long and we're excited for you to join us. Keep reading initiate, you must.
