Chapter 13 of 13
Hello dearies, I hope your day has been good. My name is Aisura and I'm the God of Knowledge or Mother Knowledge. I am one of the Trio and I believe my story might fascinate you. I recommend drinking tea and eating tofu during this, as my story is very spiritual. I was rather busy keeping balance in knowledge so I couldn't have written sooner. I apologise for the wait, you must've been thinking about me ever since Charlotte's entry. I presume she gave you an overview of my story so I simply wish to focus harder on my perspective. My journey begins at the laboratory. I was a fetus conceived by a forced mating protocol the labcoats decided to put into place. If one being was powerful through genetic modification, would the children be even more powerful? Could you control them if they were? The labcoats figured out the answer quickly. Shortly after I and Charlotte were born we were taken by our parents and ran away with the majority of the other canines. I cannot remember any of this though I have been told that I clung to my mother for dear life. I rode her back like she was a horse apparently and thinking back this makes me smile. She wasn't the nicest fox but she cared for me at the very least. My earliest memory is of the village's destruction. We were out berry-picking and I was going to turn my berries into a type of wine. I was happy as it was hot enough for the berries to ferment themselves. That's when it happened. I didn't hear it, I felt it. My abilities are telepathy and pathokinesis. I could communicate telepathically with my village and other telepaths, though I can also control the emotions of myself and others. That day, I lost all control. They said to run away, to turn around and never look back. They screamed loudly in their minds. They felt fear and dread. They were dying, and i felt their fear. Their life slowly ended and their minds slowly blanked. I could feel my mother was still functioning so I ran with Charlotte. The pain they felt ended quickly and the source of it all quickly vanished. As Charlotte stated, I nearly died while attempting to save my mother. I ran into our basement (it was exposed) and i spoke with her for a final time. "Protect the world. Only you have the chance and ability to protect the land." She died right after she spoke. Her right hind leg was broken into a flimsy piece of flesh under a rock and her left upperpaw was completely gone. Her life had ended so quickly. I couldn't even speak with her. It was a one-way street. Damn it, she needed me. Her being underneath rock shielded her from me. We couldn't speak telepathically because of her burial. FUCK! It didn't make me sad, it made me mad. All I could do was scream as loud as possible. I believe Charlotte might've heard it and mistaken it for me dying. Sure, I did nearly die after the scream but that wasn't why I screamed. I went up to the wall stopping myself from escaping, but I couldn't lift it. All other emotions vanished as I suddenly felt the air getting thick. I began panicking and tried to break it by ramming it. My skull fractured slightly as I did this, and I fell down crying, and then passed out. Apparently, they saved me. I cannot remember much after my passing out, other than Alora. She apparently fed me plants while I was passed out. I suggested we rebuild a home for beings like us after I woke up. Those that were abandoned or pained by others. They agreed and so we head far away. We didn't want to be reminded of our own pain, not yet. Alora built the homes, I gave the knowledge and wisdom, and Charlotte gathered the civilians. We gave all loners a home to be. Our only laws were common sense and honour. We didn't wish to limit anyone from expressing themselves. Charlotte gave a better and more detailed account of this, please read her point of view instead of mine for this. After the events that Charlotte described, we met a squirrel named Ratatoskr. He asked us one question," What is it you three want more than anything else?" I wanted the knowledge and power to help those in need. In a sense, I have similar power to Tobu. My knowledge and wisdom though is much more powerful and all-knowing. Tobu performed their trials quite a lot. I only did mine once. My need and strive for helping others strengthened my powers as I gained them. Nobody, not even Hecate, has as much knowledge about mortals and everything as I do. Except, Alora and Charlotte. Alora knows more about Nature than anyone else and Charlotte knows more about Animals. I hold the knowledge of every mortal being in existence and all of their wisdom together. After all of our journeying, I split off shortly. In between the short time of us gaining our powers and meeting Hecate, I explored my new knowledge. I gave them a large number of my powers to help them, though my knowledge stayed. I created tea from nearby flowers and I mixed in berries that were extremely hot. I did this for a small alcoholic taste in my tea. It was to keep me wary but understanding of everything. It somehow actually helped me and I learned of Hecate. Stephen Fox's knowledge was mine only for a moment as he became a god rather quickly. I learned of Hecate right as he did, and so I rejoined the trio. We worked together and helped our village, then we met Hecate. I explained telepathically what each of us were and that we'd love to help her. I measured our knowledge and each of us individually knew more than even the creator herself. Of course, I could only peruse her knowledge for a short bit. Reading a god's mind is extremely painful but a primordial is a thousand times worse. She didn't know I did this, though I was mentally exhausted after the calculations were done. She needed us because of our knowledge. My knowledge of mortals, Charlotte's knowledge of animals, and Alora's knowledge of nature. She created everything and her creations surpassed her in knowledge in a matter of years. She knew this but wasn't seeking out to hurt anyone. She needed aid in balance, and we were the embodiment of balance. She told me telepathically that we each were connected to our own pieces of the universe and that our existence was crucial to survival now. If I was killed, all sentience and knowledge would disappear, even for Hecate. If Alora died, all nature would die. If Charlotte died, all beings would die, including the gods and primordials. She told me that there is a way for gods to die, though it apparently was extremely rare to happen. The only way for gods to die is for another god to attack one. Mortals cannot hurt gods, though gods can hurt each other. She warned me that there were gods gathering to overthrow her. This was absurd, though she also told me that the same things apply to primordials as they do to gods. A primordial can kill a primordial, though only they can hurt each other. Primordials cannot hurt gods apparently. This shocked me but she told me to keep it a secret. She said I can write it in here, though for any gods who read this be cursed with the inability to share it. Since you've read it, you cannot talk about it. I'm sorry. You can't even write about it. I and Hecate are going to be figuring out what to do in the future, but your help will not be needed. That is why i cursed you. I'm sorry. Mine and Hecate's knowledge is enough to figure out how to stop this attack. She believes it is a powerful Primordial who is the leader and a group of lower gods that the primordial is empowering. The group is clever, no mortal knows of them and they've learned to control their bodies too. They can't be tracked yet, though the trio and Hecate will figure it out. We asked Charlotte and Alora for help too but forgot to mention that. Sorry. We're searching through all the knowledge we have to find them, going back over everything we know, then triple checking. These gods are crazy good at hiding. Sadly, all we know is that they know where we live from a now-deceased messenger. They were poisoned by the group, but couldn't give us a proper description. We know they're powerful, that's why it's suspected to be run by a primordial. That's my story, though we will continue this later. If she requests it again, we will write another entry (all of us) and they will be longer than before. I'm sure if any of you new gods request a "lemon" we can give it. I hope you enjoyed it, may knowledge protect you all. /p
