Chapter 1 of 13
In the beginning, I saw nothing. I could hear nothing. I tried to look at my paws, but I realised I didn't have any. I was nothing. I had no memory or understanding of my surroundings. A neverending void of ceaseless black and silence. Until I thought. I wanted to see something new and I suddenly was on a ground. The land was flat and dry. Nothing there but somehow grass. "How odd, I wonder where I am...Oh!" I was shocked that I could speak. My voice sounded wonderful and holy as if everything was in unity in my body. I thought of something that could hold life and suddenly giant pools of water formed in front of me. I decided to sit down and cross my legs, and there I began what is now called meditating. I focused on my body, felt each cell move, and felt my heart beating. I snapped my claws and paper appeared in my paw. It was then I realised I had a body. It was very fluffy, black and white, and felt as though three bodies were inside it. I paid this little attention as I wanted to leave any future civilisations that form a list of important things to breed order and not chaos. I stood up and rose from the ground into the atmosphere. I then used my hands to visually form the land, making mountains, lakes, ponds, and anything else your mind may come up with. When it was done I sat down. It had been seven spins of the planet. I realised all I can do is offer assistance to those worthy if they can find me. So, I formed a few more planets and systems to keep balance in the universe. I realised that deities and gods would need a home as divinity cannot stay in lands for too long. The land begins to grow too fast and that can destroy ecosystems. Divine beings' dead cells are like a hyper-fertiliser. Very few primordials could keep their abilities in check, only one other survived. I've yet to write this but I found a friend. A little being I call a fox who was 20 feet tall. Her name is Gekido and can do everything I can except destroy and create. I created a bunch of planets and asked her to form them, sorry for not writing this in my journal. After me and her finished, we decided to focus on The Village of Higher Beings. We live in a different world than mortals so we don't hurt order when near those of imperfection. I made the land and Gekido formed it for me. Though Gekido stated she felt a tear in the universe. This was concerning but we decided to wait to deal with that. Quickly we were satisfied with our work so we decided to rest for a few billion years. When we awoke, we decided to check on the mortal world. During this, I had to bring many divine beings which had formed through "tests" apparently. I watched the line of time and noticed some were being selected for testing. I couldn't find the one behind it yet but I still brought a few people with me. The names of these people are as follow: Stephen Fox, Alora, Aisura, Tobu, Shinse, Charlotte, Aayansh, Rex, Kantoboi, and Gaka. In our world, we watch over the mortal realms in posts of years. We often take breaks and connect with each other. To keep on topic, let us continue on the fact that we found who was choosing people and where they were. Apparently, the universe had torn and inside was a pocket universe. A being known as Ratatoskr and their home Living Tree chooses people for potential deitisation. I am okay with this as they are completely optional though it was scarcely declined I wanted to set up ground rules and a system to go by. Me and Gekido found the tear and entered it, learning its spacial-positioning for later. When we arrived, the squirrel Ratatoskr got nervous. It turns out he was a primordial being and this pocket universe was a micro-universe created when I made this universe. He chose to live in isolation and the tree grew overnight when he arrived. It spoke to him and asked for his help. It asked to choose worthy beings for challenges to help keep balance, unaware gods existed. This world was very isolated and only cracks in the universe showed a peek of land. They agreed and now here we were, confused but understanding. Since this could hurt both of them, we decided to do a few things to fix this. We gave the tree the ability to form matter for better challenges and gave it the ability to grant more than puny abilities. We came up with a system. Ratatoskr creates a list of 20 people every decade who I will periodically test mentally. Physically testing was Ratatoskr's end. Gekido was just the second opinion but I value her opinion greatly. After this for a few millennia, we rested again. Now, it is 2050 (in mortal time). We have a plethora of diaries which I will put down for any future gods to read. If you read this, thank you. You've been chosen for being the best person you can be. You're so close to proving yourself, just keep going. Goodbye.
