Chapter 12 of 13

Gaka

Welcome to my chapter cuties! I'm here to share my experience with assisting my masters and what I do in my spare time. I'm considered the village's servant, though I gladly fit the role! I enjoy helping my fellow gods and love being the third wheel in the many fantasies that they share with each other. Being the God of Illusions, I'm able to assist my fellow gods with many of their pleasurable fantasies, bringing them right to them. It makes me happy when they're pleasured and makes me even happier when I'm told I did a good job. It makes me feel amazing knowing my masters are satisfied with my work. Anyways, I'll tell you my story. I remember feeling my life fade away. I was in a white room surrounded by human doctoral equipment. Being a Unicorn, the only one, they couldn't help me. My biology was far too complicated. My work was about to go down the drain. My love and care, my passion and strive, all gone! Suddenly, time slowed. The drip in the IV stopped altogether. "So much passion and love. So much care but so few noticers. So few people noticed your efforts, them all going to vain. What could you do but hope and wish if nothing you had was sadness? You hoped to be noticed and for your art to be appreciated, though it rarely happened. What would happen if pure divinity helped you? Would it get better or worse? You'll soon find out my love." There was no direction for the voice, it was everywhere. It sounded like pureness and love, all I wanted to be. My life, no, my passion was to strive and be better! My body then got better. The men explained that somehow My body got rid of a terrible tumour in my leg. I took time to process this, did that being help me? Who were they? Why did they help me? I was released quickly after as nothing appeared wrong with me. I went home to my little cabin in the woods and went back to my art. As i tried to draw what I imagined the being to look like, I got pulled into the art. I screamed though nothing came out. When I awoke, I was in another hospital. I was asked a series of questions that were useless but I answered. I was still quadrapedic and still a unicorn. What happened? Was that all a dream? They also released and I went back to where my cabin should've been. All that was there was a beautiful waterfall. "A being in a new world must find footing where they never began. Can they learn to exist in a world that they couldn't explain? It wasn't one created by them, though it seems as though the art did something to this one's mind. Perhaps it was transported into a new body? Perhaps their whole being came with them through the art. I suppose we'll see how this being reacts." The being of pure divinity was back! Though it sounded older, perhaps wiser? They sounded as though they also were curious of who I was. Didn't we just speak prior to this incident? I turned around and it was still there! It was watching me as if inspecting me. "A being of not our own reality. One from a world that never appreciated them. It seems as though another universe exists. I have many questions for you, though I'll wait to see what it is you do. You have one question with me, be wise." She didn't give me much time do ask or do anything! One question? What could I ask?! Then, I spoke without thinking, "What is this place?" That is all I asked. She laughed and lowered herself down to me, then walked up to me and put a paw on my face," Normally, I'd never interact physically with a mortal, though you're an exception. You're in a new world. Your art seems to have transported you into my universe. I find this an interesting ability so I'll be watching you. Please be careful." I blinked and she was gone! All she left in her wake was a new cabin. How'd she do that? It had berry bushes surrounding it and everything! I walked inside and there was a bed and a closet, nothing else. I went to the closet and…well… I shut it quickly after that and we'll wait to tell you the contents. You'll certainly be excited before I do though. I walked out and headed north. The direction where most lands settled in my world. I wonder if it's the same? I found a small village an entered a small shop. I asked what currency they took, and they answered," Simply give the world back whatever you take. It's all I can ask for." She smiled and handed me a complicated set of tools and canvases to work my art onto. She smiled and I left. I guess that's my new goal, to put back into the world whatever I for me to point out is that the world I lived in before was populated entirely by humans. I was the only known unicorn in the world. Here, the latter is correct though everyone seems to be species of an animal. They all lived in harmony! It's fascinating. It was then I got the inspiration for a piece of art. I rushed home and set up my paints and canvas. I used my horn and began to paint my new home. Everyone in balance, how it should be. No pain unnecessarily. When I finished, nothing happened! I expected another pull but perhaps it was a one-and-done? "Such magnificent art. If only the world before had cared. You'd not even be here. You have been chosen to receive the highest power a mortal can achieve, godhood. I simply have one question: What is it you want more than anything else in the world?" I turned around and a squirrel was speaking to me. I grabbed a knife with my unicorn horn and prepared to defend myself. "I'll ask again mortal, what is it you wish for more than anything else in the world?" He walked right into my knife as he spoke. I backed myself into a corner and answered," I wish for the power to help anyone through the art i make!" He smiled and put out a paw, offering it to me. Should I take his paw? "Then you have what it takes to achieve godhood. If you take my paw, you can have the chance to become a god. It's up to you," He spoke firmly yet softly. Each word with as much care as the last. I took his paw and he teleported me to his home," Behind me is where you'll be spending the day. Carpe Diem, go seize the day." I nodded and approached my course. I finished it easily and after I awoke in my bed. Was it all a dream? I stood up to get some water but right before I exited the room I simply appeared there. Right next to my river. I was shocked and stood still. Did i do that? I tried it again and surely i could teleport. Did i truely become a god? I rushed back to my home and picked up a brush. Instead of using it to paint, i did what i've always dreamt of doing. I used the paintbrush to simply visualise the creation of an illusion. I made an illusion of being next to a mountain. It was so real I even got a bit scared. I could do that. "And then the being who had nothing now has everything. You have achieved what few others could, godhood. You cannot control your new body so you have to come with me. I will grant you a seat in my advisory board, and give you the title of the God of Illusions," She stood behind me, with a paw on my head. I nodded without looking at her and suddenly we were in a room. So many gods were talking, a few louder than others, and a few yelling. She clapped three times which was a signal to quiet down. "This here is a god worthy of being up here. They were neglected by so many that they even were cast out from their home universe. This is the God of Illusions. They will serve as a servant to all of us but will give us advice on the perspective that mortals might see whenever we have to do something in their world," She spoke loudly this time, bringing dominance yet understanding into the room. They all nodded and somehow she made a seat for me right next to the Trio. They welcomed me with nuzzles and I nuzzled back. We got right into the business though. "My messengers have informed me that mortals plan to fight again in a new war because one country they made stole an exotic animal and refuses to give it back. To prevent a massacre, what is it that we could do?" She looked around the room and pointed to me, "I believe we should hear what the newbie thinks." I spoke shyly but loudly. My voice quivered and my body shook slightly, "Anything we do might incite more panic i presume. If we give the country back their animal, the other country might retaliate against them, thinking they somehow stole it back. If we do nothing, a war happens, and if we intervene divinely then it might be seen as us gods wanting to control the world. I'm not qualified enough yet to give a well enough opinion on what to do, though I do wish to learn. I suspect these three here would have great opinions." I took a deep breath and exhaled. She nodded and the meeting went on. That is the story set up by me. If you gods request more, I could give you what the internet calls a "lemon" and some romance. I believe i found the one in this village and am happy to share if it's what you request. Much love, the God of Illusions. /p
